El Porrón Tasca Andaluza — Restaurant in Santa Cruz de Tenerife

This restaurant is easily the best and most comfortable I've ever been too, there were vast varieties of food with an unique difference in flavour, none the less they combined to be a great combination of food. Next we have the brilliant location that it is in in the centre of a beautiful street with live music that really added the spirit to the bright street. Finally the great customer service was simply outstanding with very friendly staff who are super polite and know quite a bit of languages which is super great for foreign travellers and mostly they are really family friendly and are great to go as a family. Terrible place to eat. The food was absolutely awful for all of us. The avocado was not fresh, the croquettes were made maybe last year. The tuna came cold and didn’t taste anything. The portions small but actually it is better as you don’t want to eat rotten food. Not to mention that they overcharged our bill. The service wasn’t good and definitely not professional. A bit of a disappointment. First impressions excellent, nice area etc. Had boquerones fritos which were ok, but if you've ever eaten at El Pimpi in Málaga, they set the bar very high. Also, despite the "Tasca Andalusia" tag, I couldn't see much evidence of any other tapas options. Things took a turn for the worse when I asked for the bill. The miserable individual who slumped up to my table could barely bring himself to get it for me, and went away after without speaking or making eye contact, apparently incapable of responding to my saying "gracias".
