Historical restaurant located on beautiful square,we were absolutely amazed by the old trees surrounding restaurant. But that's about it. Food is tasteless and it's monotonous at best, but very expensive. I ordered their signature dish(quarter of roasted piglet/cochinillo segoviano) and it came witouth any vegetables on the side so I had to order another portion of canary potatoes on side. Very bad practice for the price they charging for this dish 29.50 euros.
I don't mind paying 200 euros for a dinner but I have to receive good quality food for my money. This was simply not it. Piglet was absolutely tasteless, they didn't even put a pinch of salt on it.
I also want to mention that my wife only had one starter shared with me,salad and cake without main course. We haven't had any alcohol and they charged for water they refill 2.6 euros. The bill came in at 86.90 euros. What a joke! This restaurant is tourist trap and you should stay...
Read moreThe place had great grilled cheese and very tasty grilled squid. We took a half a portion both of these and were surprised by the generous sizes. The price was about 6 euros per half portion. After this great start the cod salad with almonds tasted really bland, but the weirdest plate was the pork. It was served with palm honey and it was crazy SWEET. It is really weird to eat sweet pork, no other tastes off sour, salty or spicy were added to balance out the sweetness. And the pork was dry and hard. Very underwhelming. P.S. They charge for the bread they bring. Sth around euro per piece seems to be a...

Finally, bacalao over roasted sweet potatoes with a green and a red mojo sauce. Wow!! It was incredible!! All of the dishes were beautifully presented by friendly waiters. We really...
