UDON Meridiano — Restaurant in Santa Cruz de Tenerife

We are from the south of tenerife, but we go to the north especially for this restaurant! the service is amazing and they welcome you with open arms and a smile. You just feel yourself invited, which is a nice bonus. even when there is no/not alot of people, the staff is always busy with cleaning and maintaining everything and making sure the bussiness is exceptionally clean! no huf or puf or phone. now lets talk about the FOOD! njam njam! from start till dessert was a 11/10! the best ramen in Tenerife, I really hope this bussiness will come to the south because this is a game changer! Spot on ! what I love about it as well is, that the tastes are always the same, and on point and full of flavor with that extra touch. Quantity and quality is perfect! it is so balanced and beautifully presented, you can tell its made with love! thank you and bless, may many more years keep this bussiness alive ! If you are in love with the japanese food and culture, and loves a very good ramen while thinking your in japan.., well this is the place to be (and i have been to many places to try) so i recommend a 100%

Note: I can understand because of the "cheaper" fast food bussiness around this restaurant it may look a tad more expensive, but remember... it is 100% healthy with fresh ingrediënts (even the desserts, and the ice cream is homemade!) absolutly worth it its a litlle gem that is...

I never write bad reviews, but this time I had to. I read a review here that the restaurant has gluten-free options, and I walked 25 minutes specifically on Tenerife's carnival day to eat at this restaurant. When we arrived, we were greeted by a waitress who claimed that the only gluten-free dish available was a seafood Pad Thai. We explained that we don't eat seafood and asked if it could be replaced with chicken? We were told no. We asked if we could simply have the dish without the seafood? That wasn't possible either. We tried every way to find a solution, but they weren't interested. The waitress explained that the last time she asked to change something in a dish, she was reprimanded!

We asked if we could have one of the rice dishes? According to her, all the dishes in the restaurant contain gluten except what she offered - seafood Pad Thai.

It's such a shame, when a restaurant finally offers a gluten-free option and has the will - in the end it's for nothing, they don't try to help the customer, they don't want to help the customer. It probably worked out for the best because when we arrived the restaurant was empty, and after we finished eating somewhere else (that really wanted to help and did everything possible), they were still empty - probably not...

Very poor service and food. Beef & rice ordered, apparently not on menu, ordered beef with noodles, came with four tiny strips of fatty beef. Given a dirty spoon off waiter who just smiled when I pointed put it was dirty. Asked for beef to be changed and ordered a chicken dish. This arrived and again minimal meat, upon tasting it was pork! My wine came in a glass with a new sticker on underneath, clearly not been washed before. Staff were slow and the manager too willing to accept the errors of the restaurant. Cited that the waiter brought me pork instead of chicken because I was English and he did not understand me! He gave me the menu in Spanish, I spoke to him in Spanish and English and even pointed to the meal on the menu. Main toilet out of order. Very poor service and food and would...
