Bar Route 66 Puerto Santiago — Restaurant in Santiago del Teide

We stumble upon this area full of bars, shops for clothes, towels, watches etc (What you'd get at the market or any other shop in a tourist area but bit dearer than a market ) lots of restaurants etc too. Streer Parking is luck of the draw but there is also Paid parking which we didn't use as we got lucky after circling the block 6 times and parked about a 5 min walk away from the main area. This place thou is perfect for all ages especially those with teenager's as there was a few pool tables dart board and I believe there was something else like air hockey but I could be wrong. All I noticed as we sat outside was few families with kids and they all seemed relaxed whilst their children was also able to do something. It is on the rd side but the area where the families sat was tucked back off the road. A band played (tbh abit too loud if you wanted to chat at your table) but they was good and participated trying to encourage the customers to suggest songs. The bar looked good, music playing over the the sound system thought we'd give it a go. We were the only customers in there, three staff standing at the bar. A few minutes passed before we were approached regarding a drink. This kind of set the level. Staff then vanished outside somewhere. If we'd have wanted another drink, which we didn't, we were out of luck. Eventually found staff and paid the bill, which by the way has to be paid in cash. 8 euros for two pints of local beer. Another brilliant night out there tonight. Stumbled upon this bar on an evening walk on our second night of the holiday. The music was live, and was not too loud that you couldn't have a conversation with someone. We had walked past a few that were just too noisy. The cocktails are a must, delicious! Prices are reasonable and slightly less than at home. They have air hockey tables and pool table outside so good for kids also and they seemed to be very welcoming...
