Pizzeria-Restaurante Torreón — Restaurant in Santiago del Teide

Served with a side of sass! We found this place on happy cow and it had great reviews! There is a big vegan menu which is nice. Food was nothing to rave about nor complain about, but the staff were a little shocking. The young lady was negative and complaining and the older man was cranky. He had a go at me for having a bottle of water on the ground beside the table. He told me I had to put it in my bag and i did so without hesitation and apologised, not realising i had done anything wrong. He came back at me insisting about it and cursing in Spanish, when I had already accepted and did what he asked me. Seems like he must have gotten out of bed on the wrong side and the crankiness really killed the mood. Terrible. I didn’t even eat there, I placed an order and when I asked to charge my phone, because I traveled far and needed to charge it stuff said it’s not possible because ITS PROHIBITED BY OWNER use electricity for customers 😂 like WHAT I asked if I can pay for charging my phone, and the lady was like no, you can use Wi-Fi for free ( THANK YOU 😆) but I can not charge my phone. I was about order and have a bill more than 20€, but I didn’t want to leave money in this place so I left. Feel sorry, because the reviews were good, but like WHAT 😂

ANSWER 2 Watch your tone. Because there is something in this world you never heard. It’s called SERVICE . And just for your information- I do have external charges and forgot it...

We came to the Barcelo Santiago Hotel as an all inclusive holiday not knowing what the food availability was like in the area due to many restaurants closing due to Covid-19. Unfortunately, we found Torreon restaurant all to late. We had both an evening meal and lunch prior to leaving and if we found this at the beginning of our holiday we would have eaten here all the time. The food is exceptional, the price is extremely reasonable and the people who work here are really friendly and professional. I can not recommend highly enough. Five stars just don't do it justice.
