We recently stayed at the Costa Los Gigantes Hotel at the top of the hill above Legends and we visited Legends 4 times during our stay we enjoyed it that much ☺️. The location is absolutely brilliant, looking out to sea and from the first second of our visit we were met with warm and welcoming service.
On our first visit we had drinks, including some delicious milkshakes, which were all very reasonably priced. We came back later that day to watch Arsenal play. We then came back a few days later having liked it so much, to celebrate my Mother in Law's 65th birthday. We had given Collette the owner some banners to put up for us, which were arranged beautifully and some more had been added for us. We had main meals and puddings and let me tell you the food here is absolutely fab! The home made chips and wedges are lush and the portions are very generous! My daughter loved the chocolate fudge cake!
It may just look like a bar from the outside but the food is home made and of a very good standard. The service could not be better and both Collete and her husband (sorry, didn't catch your name!) and their staff go above and beyond to make sure everything runs smoothly. We came back again a 4th time to watch Arsenal v Real Madrid which was really fun and we had a great view and despite it being busy we always felt well tended to. There’s also music by Adrian and others and It’s a open air place to grab some beers and food with the family or with mates with some palm trees views sports bar… so I f you enjoy a sports bar feeling but also family friendly and some wine and mixers and family and kids, with easy going music and 2 minutes from the beach then it’s for you. If you don’t like it when some Brits football fans are excited at a football game night then choose elsewhere for that night so check the football schedule … or give yourself the chance to maybe even enjoy it with the random Brit practicing their religion of goofball spectatorship. No wonder the locals are protesting about over tourism and it ruining the country when you have this place blasting music till 12am even on a Monday night.. .keeping up the residents that are at least 2 blocks away...you might well be on holiday but people also live here... Karaoke ugh... Awful music just makes it so tacky and tasteless..
Not to mention when we first stopped off in this area for a barraquito they charged us 4.50 each!!! Considering we've travelled the island and even in the capital the most was only ever 2 50...
what a complete rip off! We quickly left glad that's all we ordered.
These are the kind of places which makes locals hate us brits... 😭...
