When we visited Restaurante La Gaviota del Atlántico, we ordered 2 pizzas, because we didn't have a lot of time and needed to catch a bus. So, we thought pizzas wouldn't take so long to prepare. The restaurant was almost empty when we came - one more table except for us. We ordered immediately, but the pizzas took 40 minutes to come, which we thought was a very long waiting time. Also, two more couples came after us (separately), one couple sitting next to us ordered pizzas too and they got it sooner than us. In the end, the pizzas tasted very good, and the location of the restaurant is also very convenient (in front of a bus stop and beach), but the service was quite poor. Absolutely fantastic lunch. Starting with a bottle of white wine from Sicily, ordered octopus/potato to start with followed by Linguine Seafood and delicious Italian sausage pizza. Cooked to perfection. Could not leave without desert cannoli, tiramisu and of course, just had to have cassata 👌this family business has to be congratulated for serving up such quality food and presentation along with their service and hospitality. We got the recommendation by Kristina, the owner of our apartment if we would like mariscos (seafood) for an reasonable price, we should go to La Gaviota, it is mucho mucho good. What should we say, a small family owned Italian restaurant. The staff is very friendly and also competent, the food was really great, so it endet up we came 3 times for dinner, and every time, it was really great. First time grilled seafood, second time carpaccio and pasta frutti di mare, third time paella. Really nothing to complain, everything fine!...
