Dughi's burger — Restaurant in ses Salines

I'm a lazy reviewer in that I'll only review if somewhere blows me away. This place did and I went back a third time. I tried the Emmily burger (really good) and then the De La Chef (amazing) so I got that a 2nd time. My partner is coeliac so I checked how the meat is cooked. From what I understood, unfortunately it is cooked on the same grill as normal bread so it is not suitable for anyone very sensitive to gluten or anyone who is coeliac. They do have gluten free bread (pan sin gluten) for anyone who is just a bit intolerant like myself (but it is grilled on the same grill as normal bread). The staff were very helpful and checked with the chef about the above and weren't just trying to sell more food which is appreciated (this has been our experience all across Majorca which seems very allergen conscious). Dughi's burgers also has bread without milk (sin leche). Highly recommend this place and seems to be open all day serving food (i.e. no mid day closure of the kitchen like a lot of places). I got the burger for takeaway and heated up some gluten free brioche burger buns from Eroski to make this the ultimate gluten free burger...

Dughi’s burger looking from the outside looked like another classic low quality burger joint. But decided to go try it. It was the complete opposite!

The atmosphere in the inside was nice and clean. Friendly and very professional waiters. We (2 people) ordered 2 cheese burgers. One with 3 patties and one with 2. These burgers weren’t good, they weren’t amazing, they were on a whole another level! As this was near the end of our trip here I can definitely say that this was the best meal we had in the whole country. (And in my life.) There are 3 options for burgers. One with 3 patties one with 2 and one with 1. I would say that 2 patties are enough and 3 is a bit overkill.

The prices are fair and what you would expect. Around 10-14€ per burger. They also have some Vegan options for burgers.

If you want burgers around town. There are about a million options of where you can go. Still, I recommend this 10 times out of 10. For these of you who are looking at other burger restaurants in the area; skip them...

We made the mistake of walking past this burger bar in the first few days of our holiday, assuming it was just another average fast food joint. From the outside, it doesn’t scream “best meal of your trip” — but wow, were we wrong.

When we finally gave it a try, everything changed. These burgers aren’t just good — they’re next level. Easily the best I’ve had anywhere, in any country. The quality of the ingredients, the flavour, the way everything’s cooked to perfection… you can tell the people here care about what they’re serving.

The staff were just as impressive — friendly, welcoming, and clearly passionate about what they do. We were so blown away that we ended up coming back every single day for the rest of our trip.
