I will preface this by saying that if you are tourists DO NOT GO HERE. We ate here because it was too late to go anywhere else.
We waited for 20 minutes and no one even acknowledged us, we had to bring our own menus but the locals were brought menus to them.
The servers only Spoke Spanish and got mad at us that we weren’t understanding them. Whenever we asked to order we were totally ignored or rudely responded to.
When the server did come, he literally left while we were ordering and came back 10 minutes later to start over.
I ordered a pizza with ham and mushrooms. The pizza came with just mushrooms, when I complained, the owner was insisting very aggressively that the pizza did have ham (IT MOST DEFINITELY DID NOT). Eventually he gave in and just took the pizza and just put some cold ham on the pizza (as seen in the photos). The dough wasn’t even cooked properly and was raw. We also ordered ravioli carbonara. Once the pizzas came, the owner came to inform us they did not have ravioli so they did macaroni instead. The pasta was not even edible.
Glasses were dirty and they brought out a full bottle of water.
Eventually we payed and the waitress did not even say a single word, not even thank you or anything of that sort.
Final verdict, my worst experience in a restaurant....
Read moreThis place now is not what it used to be many years ago. Now is just living from the tourists and serve frozen paella heated up in a felthy microwave. No locals would ever go to this place, not just because of their exorbitant prices, but because of its poor quality food. The service is usually good by nature since the locals are very friendly and welcoming people. However, the management takes advantage of the large unemployment rate to use this people for a few days. I met someone who worked there and informed me that the restaurant only pays them 22 euros per DAY! and I'm talking about a shift of at least 10 hours! which can easily be extended to 16 hours in days like Holly Week for no extra money. They usually get people to work the holydays with no contracts and after two or three days of training with no remuneration to just get red of them right after the holyday is over. The management should be ashamed for their poor food quality and how they are compensating...
Read moreWe initially stopped because this looked like a fun little pub to sit outside in the 36° heat while the misters where keeping us cool. We ordered a sangria, a martini spritz , and some cheese. What came next was a surprise.... our bill which included 17 euros for cheese....ouch!!! To be fair, we forgot to cancel the basket of bread which is always automatically brought to the table in Spain, so that was 2 euro on its own. We also didn't ask the price of the cheese, again, our fault but we have traveled all over Spain and Portugal and have never paid that much for a plate of cheese!!! The sangria was in a small glass compared to others I've had and they rimmed the glass with sugar, again, I've never had this anywhere else. Would WE go there again? A definite no would be the answer, but give it a try for yourself. Just make sure you know what the prices are before you order and don't forget to cancel that...
