Today was the second time I've been in the Lush Sevilla, and the second time the same ratty greasy looking male worker approached me and told me I essentially couldn't touch or smell anything on the shelves after I spritzed perfume on the sample paper to smell, while completely ignoring other customers who were doing exactly that, pawing and picking up soap bars to sniff and putting them back. How am I supposed to figure out if I want to buy anything new if a) I can't get help because the workers will only interact with me to tell me off, but otherwise ignore me, and b) if I can't sniff the samples after hand sanitizing and through the mask? It seems like greasy rat worker has an issue with English speaking clientele in that store, since he reprimanded my friend the first time we went there a month ago. Sevilla is the closest Lush to me, but I won't be going back ever again. Another store can...
Read moreWent here today to buy some bath products to use during my stay. When asked if I needed help, I said no, as I was trying to read/translate the texts from the products & keeping my distance from the woman before me that was still taking some products. The guys English wasn’t great, so I figured I just use the translate app on my phone.
The guy kept talking to me, telling me that I cannot touch anything & cannot come closer to the products & if I want to take something, I have to ask him. Mind you, I was still in the same place, keeping my distance from the woman before me. He kept coming closer to me asking me what he can help me with… At this point I asked “why can she (the lady before me) take the products & I can’t?” He very arrogantly replied with “uhm, covid?!”.
I just left. I don’t think I ever left a Lush empty handed. Very bad, annoying &...
Read moreThere is a line between being helpful and pushy. The sales guy recommended the most expensive product in the store, which was not what I asked for. When I informed him it wasn't really what I wanted he tried to interfere with me buying anything else. What has happened to browsing and being able to read the ingredients. He literally stared at me the whole time I shopped. LUSH so called 'natural' products contain Sodium Lauryl Sulfate a known skin irritant. Its a cheap soaping agent. The sudsy bath bomb I used has left my whole body and eyes itchy. Oh and the free sample I got was the product I told him I didn't...
