The restaurant looks great and the reviews are positive so the expectations were high. Drinks came relatively quick so we expected the same for the food. Sadly we were waiting quite a while until the food arrived and when it arrived it was quite cold. The reason was not because one of our dishes wasn't ready yet, they just seemed to have forgotten us because both were quite cold. On to the dishes themselves: I ordered the porcini pizza which was really good (that's why I give 2 stars, instead of 1) but it would've been even more amazing had it been warm. The risotto with some kind of small lobsters and truffle oil wasn't good at all. First of all, this was stone cold, my pizza had been cooling for a few minutes. Second, they don't put the lobster meat in the risotto, they just serve it with 3 small lobsters on top, which would be fine if they gave the proper cutlery to get all the meat out of it. You can forget about getting any meat from the claws if you don't want to look like a caveman while doing it. Third, there was way to much truffle oil in the risotto, it was positively swimming in the oil, my girlfriend wasn't feeling well later this evening from the amount of oil she ate (and she didn't even finish the dish). Afterwards we wanted to leave as soon as possible, understandably after the disappointing experience, but noone came asking if we wanted any dessert or anything so we could ask for the bill. After some time I asked them myself and we left shortly after. Summary: probably a good restaurant (if they use less truffle oil and give the proper tools to get all the meat from your lobster) but we were completely forgotten which resulted in cold, unappetising food. (We didn't ask to reheat the food because my girlfriend was already struggling with her lobsters and we didn't want to attract any more attention to ourselves.) Very disappointed. Btw: the young servers were friendly but the bald guy might want to learn and smile to his customers because it comes over pretty rude.
EDIT: I have to point out a few mistakes in your answer. When we arrived it was quite early and there were not that much people. And the orders being slow didn't matter that much, them being cold however is worse. I am not commenting on the freshness of your products, I'm sure they are very fresh because they tasted good, what I'm pointing out is that there was just to much (truffle) oil on the dish. Maybe one of the chefs spilled a bit, I don't know, but the fact is the taste was way too overpowering and the dish as a whole was way too greasy. Another mistake is that our plates were not empty, there was a bit of risotto left. The reason there was only a bit left, dispite the excess of oil, was that leaving a large part of the dish is considered rude and wastefull, and we didn't wa't to come over that way. Like I said, the proper cutlery to eat the lobsters were not provided and we weren't eager to attract even more attention by complaining about the dishes + we didn't want to wait another 45 minutes. About your behaviour, again you are playing the victim when there absolutely no need. I am not being rude, I am just stating that you where very cool but your waiters where way more jovial and enjoyable. I hope you understand the complaints and address them because there is a lot...
Read moreWe had an absolutely phenomenal experience at Alimentari! The service and food exceeded every expectation—it was truly exceptional.
Initially, we were on our way to another reservation, but Alimentari caught our eye with its inviting outdoor seating, filled with locals clearly enjoying themselves. Hunger struck, and we decided to check if they could accommodate us. To our delight, the staff went above and beyond—the owner personally made room for us. How wonderful is that?
From the moment we sat down, the service was impeccable. Drinks and bread arrived almost immediately, setting the tone for a perfect evening. The pizza, served promptly, was amazing—flavorful, perfectly cooked, and satisfying. Lucca, our server, was warm, attentive, and ensured every detail was taken care of.
Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious. The croqueta de patata y trufa was a revelation—so divine that we had to order another. The 1/2 order of spinach lasagna was heavenly, but it was so good (and so small for two) that we couldn’t resist ordering a full plate right away. Dessert was the ultimate cherry on top—the pistachio gelato was rich and creamy, and the bread paired with their signature whipped seasoned butter was pure bliss.
A heartfelt thank you to the team at Alimentari for creating such a memorable dining experience. Your attention to detail, welcoming atmosphere, and exceptional food made this an evening we’ll...
Read moreMy wife and I went here for lunch at 1:30 on a weekday. I would recommend having a reservation unless you arrive between 1:30 to 1:45 since there aren't many tables available for non-reservations even on a weekday.
We were recommended this location both online and by our hotel staff and I am glad that we went because this was the best pizza dough that I have had ever (disclaimer: I do not actively seek out the best pizza dough, so take this with a grain of salt). We had the Alimentari salad and the La Verace pizza along with typical bread service and a coke zero which cost us $35 and fed us both satisfactorily. This was the best flavor to cost meal for us in our whole trip to Sevilla (over 6 days).
The dough for both the pizza and bread was amazing and I could definitely believe that this restaurant is in the top 50 pizzerias in Europe for 2025. The Alimentari salad was also very delicious, but we would've wanted more leaves in the salad to balance the amount of burrata. The bread also comes with a mayo spread that is very delicious.
The only part of our experience that could be improved was service as the waiter was not very attentive despite us being some of the first customers of the day. He did however check in on us and ask us how we were doing later on, so it was probably just an...
