Monkey Food Sevilla — Restaurant in Seville

I recently dined at The Monkey Food Burger and had a mixed experience. First off, the decoration is quite unique, with famous paintings creatively replaced by playful monkey artwork, which sets a fun and lively atmosphere.

On the service front, there was only one person working during our visit, and they did an admirable job managing the tables. I really appreciated the attention to detail, especially when they surprised us with wings arranged in a heart shape to celebrate our wedding anniversary – a lovely touch!

The wings were definitely a highlight. They were juicy, flavorful, and cooked perfectly off the bone. However, the same cannot be said for the burgers. My husband was quite disappointed with his meal as it arrived lacking in flavor. He requested salt and ketchup, which took over ten minutes to arrive, and by the time it did, his burger was cold, leading us to return it.

As for me, I had the Lotus burger, which was a different and indulgent choice. While it was tasty, the sweet sauce wasn't quite to my taste, so I probably wouldn't order it again. Unfortunately, seeing my husband unhappy and frustrated made it difficult for me to fully enjoy my meal, and I ended up only having half of my burger.

On a positive note, the restaurant provided gloves for eating, which was a nice addition to keep my hands clean.

Overall, while there were some enjoyable aspects to our visit, particularly the wings and the quirky decor, the issues with the burgers and service left a bit...

It was the second time to hav their food as it was nice experience the first time.

Both time i had chicken burgers. They were huge, coming with two patties and they were crispy. The first time was deliver, it was not that much crispy, but still tasted so nice. As it was so good, i travelled many miles to have it in house the secons time.

It really disappointed me. The service was bad. Waiters ignored me, and took more than 20 mins to serve the cake. However the neighbour table ordered the same cake around 10 mins after i did, and they got it on their table in less than 2 minutes, 😎 wasn't that interesting? The worse part was, my chicken patties were not completely cooked. I noticed it as i could not chew it. It was dim, i raised my burger up into the light, what a nice surprise, something red something pick, ah, nice colour!! i lost all my appetite. Thanks to my sides, some nice potato, comforted my super hungry tummy coming from 60 mins walking distance place.

I must have some weight lost on this nice weather day for sure, long distance walking... not well dinner...

Conclusion: Won't ever come back Not recommended

Why? Food: pretty good. 1 star Atmosphere: pretty good. 1 star They charge for service to the table. -1 star. Come on, if I know they charge for that, I can go get my burger. They charge for sauce. -1 star. Not any special sauce, just ketchup and mayonnaise. What worst is they charge they separately! What worst is they ain't individual package, they buy the wholesale and put them into small bowl and charge you each! What worst is they didn't even tell you that they were gonna to charge you which I think is the worst of doing business. Not honest at all. Lack of impression or charm: -1 star.
