My wife and I were at this restaurant for 2 dinners (over 3 nights in Seville - Mar 2 and 4, 2016). We used to visit korean restaurants in all the cities we visit since I am Korean and my wife, even being german descent, loves it as well. Specially kimchi and kimchi tchigue (spicy soup with kimchi). We have been in many korean restaurants in Europe and US, and I am sure this is one of Top 3. Top #1 in cleaness, location (near main spots). Another highlight is the service, by Owner and his family. Very kind!
Food: we ordered bibimpap and kimchi tchigue: both were excelent!!! We can check the quality of the ingredients used! 10!!
Price: just a bit (0,50-1,50 euros) more expensive if compared to others koreans, but totally worth it!
Site: simple decoratiom, but as said, very clean (including restrooms)! The space are big enough to keep proper distance between tables.
Side dishes: superb! It is served with main course. It comes "only" 3 different sides (potatoes, tofu and kimchi). "Only" was quoted because even if it is 3 types, every one was very good in quality!
Conclusion: HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!! No need to search for other...
Read moreThe food here is incredible. I have eaten quite a lot of Korean food and this was one of my favourite Korean meals. Went here after a few too many tapas meals when we needed some spicy food! We had the Osam Bulgogi and Yukgaejang. Both were very spicy (in a good way), very thick with Korean red pepper flakes, and went incredibly well with rice. Banchan served at the table too (dubujorim, kimchi, and stirfried potato strips when we were there). Service was prompt, you pay at the counter after the meal. Wouldn't say the atmosphere is incredible but the food genuinely is some of the best Korean I've had anywhere in the world. 100% recommend.
EDIT Nov 2024: Returned again, tried more dishes, still great. FYI that the lunch menu is a much shorter version of the dinner menu, so if you want the full range of choices, dinner is probably better. At dinner 3 banchan (free side dishes) are served also, at lunch only two. The best meals are the Jeyuk Bokkum (seriously the best version of this dish I've ever had) (chargrilled spicy pork, stir-fried) and the Yukgaejang (spicy shredded beef soup). Service good, prices for mains around 14...
Read moreWent there with my husband our second day in Seville for a change of pace from tapas. At first the service was fine, but they brought out only husband’s entree and not mine. I waited 35 mins until finally letting a server know i never got my entree. Another 10 or so minutes went by before one of the other servers came by and said there was some confusion and they’re putting in my order now. No details or explanation on what the confusion was when I was very clear with my order. The waiter who initially took our order even gave me a recommendation on what sauce would taste great with my entree. At this point we had been there for an hour so I kindly asked them to pack it to-go. We also asked to cancel another food item my husband had asked for and made sure they understood by repeating myself clearly. They still brought out the cancelled entree in a packed bag and charged us for it. I’m not sure what happened and why but I am visibly Muslim (I wear a hijab) and we were the first in the queue to get inside the restaurant to be seated. Every other guest was Korean. Not saying this is racism but if the the shoe...
