I wanted to share my recent experience visiting the Real Alcazar Gardens. Despite the chilly weather, the gardens were stunning and definitely worth exploring.

I was part of a tour during my visit, which unfortunately limited the time I could spend appreciating the beauty of the gardens. However, even in the short time I was there, I was captivated by the extensive and picturesque surroundings.

I recommend allocating ample time to wander through the gardens after exploring the Real Alcazar itself. Don't miss the opportunity to stroll along the covered walkway for a breathtaking view of the lush greenery and scenic landscapes.

One thing to note is that there was no wifi available for visitors during my visit. Additionally, I didn't have a chance to check out the washrooms and cafe facilities, so you might want to plan accordingly.

Overall, my visit to the Real Alcazar Gardens was a delightful experience, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking to immerse themselves in a tranquil and...

Sevilla, Jardines Alcazáres, palace of the Kings of Seville has the largest late-medieval garden in Europe. Seville was ruled by the Moors from: 711 to 1248. After the Christian reconquest, their influence, and their craftsmen, created what became known as the Mudejar style, from an Arabic word meaning 'allowed to remain'. Peter I ruled from 1350-69. His Alcazar fortress garden was built upon Moorish remains and has typically eastern courtyards bounded by arcades and sequestered behind high walls. The oldest spaces are in and around the palace. Decorative grilles enhance lush views. There is a tank garden. The planting is of: palm, cypress, myrtle, mulberries, magnolia, orange,...
