Restaurante Tropiqual — Restaurant in Seville

We choosed this restaurant because our favorite restaurant was fully booked and we forgot to reserve a table. This one had only 2 tables occupied when we arrived, but we decided to give it a chance. The serving was ok, very nice staff, near the gorgeous "Las setas" , very sunny day, but the food... horrible! "alitas de pollo frito" were not cooked (we found blood inside), and the lasagna had pieces of not grinded meat, and it was very greasy/oily, but tastefully, so we ate everything because we were starving, and forgot every ugly detail. In my opinion, it's not enough food to have a good taste, because the quality is the MOST important thing, and i say this because when we arrived at home, we were like two balloons ... (bloating symptoms) 🤢😅 . The desert was nice (we had sweet bread/pan brioche with ice cream and red berries), but the real desert/postre is that we paid 50% off the "alitas de pollo" 🤣🤣🤣 . Are you kidding me? 🤣🤣🤣 That is so unprofessional !!!!! I highly don't recommend!

And no, it is not a joke my review, but you already know that, because you've asked already the waiters, so stop not accepting in write the facts. Your clients will know if this is a bad joke or not when they'll try the alitas and the chef it's not going to have a good day. 😄 My review is not saying that this is a usual/normal thing, that happens every day, but it's my experience and i will not allow you to broke it because it's not convenient for your business!

My friends and I wanted to eat out and we came across Tropiqual. This seemed like a really great place to eat. We all ordered some drinks which we got besides one of my friends. We waited a while to see if they would bring it later or to check if they forgot. We eventually asked it after we got the sushi. The waiter told us he forgot but poured a extra bit into the glass.

My friends ordered Sushi, the plating looked great and they really enjoyed it. Only another friend didn’t receive her chopsticks by arrival. Nevertheless I ordered noodles with chicken which I still didn’t receive after my friends got their sushi. I asked if it was almost ready but it seemed like they forgot. The waiter came to me again and said that they didn’t have the egg-based noodles anymore but instead I could choose the rice-based noodles. Which I eventually received after all my friends were done eating. I don’t know if it’s a culture thing to not receive the food at the same time but it felt like a mess.

Before reviewing our overall experience, I do want to point out that our waitress was amazing. She was very accommodating and kind to my son as it was his birthday dinner. We give the restaurant 2 stars because of her. Otherwise this place doesn't deserve any stars. The food was TERRIBLE. The pad Thai was the worst I've ever eaten. I don't know what that was but not pad thai flavor. It was extremely overpriced for literally a handful of noodles. Same with the curry noodles - just a handful in a big plate. My son did enjoy the cooked sushi we ordered - thank goodness! We waited 2 hours for the food to come out. We thought they forgot. My other son's side dish - rice, sat in front of him for an hour before the salmon - main dish, came out. The cook kept coming out of the kitchen to chat with the staff. And the bartender was helping serve the food to our table, which we appreciated.

The waitress was very apologetic. It was the strangest dining experience. The food came out sporadically. We sat in the restaurant for 3 hours. Not at all what we wanted to do with little time we...
