We booked a table for 8pm, we were seated upstairs and taken to our table quickly. Definitely a place to book as there was a long queue when it opened.

The waiter came and took a drinks order, he disappeared to check whether a strawberry mojito was available, but didn’t return to let us know. 1 drink arrived shortly afterwards.

Bread and olives (we hadn’t ordered) was brought to the table (this is chargeable).

Two of the 4 dishes we ordered arrived 30 minutes after being seated (tomato salad and the caponata focaccia), along with a dish we hadn’t ordered. We asked the waiter about the strawberry mojito and he assured us it was on its way, it arrived about 35 minutes after sitting down.

The tomato salad and focaccia were fantastic. The garlic and slightly vinegary dressing on the tomatoes was delicious.

The hamburger and fries arrived 55 minutes after being seated, we’d finished the other dishes. It would’ve been nice to have enjoyed all the food together, but this was a great smash burger.

They then took away the dish they’d brought us in error and gave it to the next table, who also hadn’t ordered it, so then moved it to its third home of the evening.

When we asked whether the last dish we’d ordered was arriving, we were told we hadn’t ordered it. They then offered to make the gyoza but by this time it was too late after the rest of the other food.

The food was fantastic, however the service wasn’t particularly friendly, (apart from the waiter with the...

The food was generally good, the rice was nice. The tuna ceviche was perfectly palatable. However, our waiter was pretty horrendous. For someone who appeared to understand English, he understood very little of what we said. We had been moved upstairs from downstairs (at our request) and one of our party had left their free glass of tap water downstairs. We asked for another glass of the water, as we ordered a €26 jug of sangria and the waiter proceeded to lecture us about how the restaurant had a policy of only one glass of tap water per customer and then we have to pay for the bottle.

He then proceeded to say all customers had to be treated the same and when we tried to explain that we had left the glass of water downstairs, he just said (and I quote) ‘those are just the rules, sweetheart’. Then followed a total catastrophe of service, from our food not arriving, bottled water mysteriously appearing on the table and then the bill and the waiter constantly hovering by our table like an unwanted fart, he was just very odd. At one point he circled our table with the same 3 plates and tried to do some sort of weird juggle as he placed a fork down on the table (it didn’t work and clanked quote loudly on the floor). The odd behaviour compared with the poor service was not a good experience and unfortunately, as perfectly palatable as the food was, it didn’t make up for that. There are better places for...

I have never been more offended in my life, the way this restaurant treats foreign tourists is unbelievable. To give some context, I'm chilean (my frist language is Spanish) and my wife is English. We go in, ask for a table and we are seated upstairs, I get a Spanish menu, ask in Spanish for an English menu for my wife, we order food, all is going well. We do notice however that a few tables are having problems with their bills, we were sat next to some Americans and some Asians, both struggling to convey what is wrong with their bill. We ask for ours and we notice we have been charged for bread and olives which we didnt get, they try and say its a service charge but they add on 10% at the end of the bill anyway, they apologise and take it off. As we head downstairs we notice that it is only foreign tourists sat upstairs and Spanish locals are sat downstairs! We think they add bread and olives on to non-spainsh guests to make some extra money as it seemed everyone upstairs was foreign and having problems with their bills but jokes on them as they didn't realise that while I was speaking in English to my wife that my native language is Spanish. Would not visit again, nice food but they are trying to con tourists who don't understand enough Spanish to complain about the added "bread and olives" to their bill. Its obvious they do this to everyone as only foreign tourists are...

4.5/5 One of the places we have visited and liked the most in Seville recently is @perroviejotapas. It is a somewhat modern restaurant by Seville standards. The city generally favors classics rather than innovations. The recipes are creative, the plates are almost flawless, and the food is delicious. We will share the plates you should definitely try: Oyster Aguachile (€5), Yakitori Chicken (€6.5), Tataki (€17), Calamari Brioche (€8), Octopus Mexican Toast (€12). Since Spain is a country with a low level of dessert, we also recommend the Chocolate Cake (€7.5) for the end of the meal. The areas where they could improve are the service quality and the organization at the welcoming. The service staff is friendly but quite inexperienced. If the host concentrates on their main job, which is greeting the customers, instead of helping the service, the waiting time at the door will decrease.

Ehh… not great. The restaurant was recommended to me by my taxi driver on the way to Seville when I asked where to get great ceviche and unfortunately I was pretty disappointed. - felt like a tourist trap - my friend ordered an aperol spritz and they swapped out ingredients and tried to pass it off until we asked - ceviche was not fresh - I took one bite and did not eat the rest. When the waiter took away the full plate he assumed I don’t like ceviche vs it being bad… with the language barrier I decided to leave it. - croquettes we’re fine but nothing to write home about - burrata and tomato salad was actually quite good - my friend also had the prawn salad which she enjoyed… but it looked mayonnaise-y to me and I could only see two prawns… I recommend trying somewhere else.
