We stumbled across this when we were looking for an escape from the afternoon sun. Located next to the "mushrooms," we half expected that it might be a tourist trap (like so many eateries in this area)... we were completely wrong. It was a pleasant surprise to be welcomed so friendly by the waiter (who I suspect might have been the owner or manager), and a menu with a wide variety of dishes served in three sizes from tapas to full plates. There was even a handy English version of the menu for these typical Brits with minimal grasp of Spanish. The food was extremely tasty, and was also good value... cheaper than any other tavernas we have visited during our stay (especially a surprise as it took a neater, crisp, more restraunty approach to the decor). We even got a friendly warning from the waiter as we left telling us that we need to get in doors as soon as possible due to the extreme heat of the afternoon sun! Read moreWas looking for some tapas after a meeting with a friend and I stopped in this charmful place in Las Setas. The decoration was similar to the one they have in "La taberna del Este" think bc is the same franchise or something, anyway It was fine and looked andalusian-traditional, something I'm really into. Nora, a very kind and completly gorgeous waitress from Italy took my order with a beautiful smile all the time, and gave me a recommendation that I ended following. I loved the sauce.
Def I'll return sooner or later, not only for the good quality food they gave me, but the splendid service my beautiful Nora gives to the...
Read moreIt is absolutely the best place for tapas and wine in whole Sevilla! After visiting numerous places around in Sevilla this has proven to be the best one by far. The tapas we ordered were delivered so fast with extremely care in all details. The chef came personally at our table to check if the food was as expected not to mention the outstanding service from the waitresses, we were served by Pedro 2 times, a very charismatic person attent to every detail of our table, always ready to assist us in every request we had with an amazing smile towards us. We thought this place might be a touristic trap as it is just beside the Setas of Seville but we were completely wrong, we had to come back several times. It was always the sane service, the same quality of food and the same attention to the details as a standard. If you are in Seville plan ahead and don't miss one of the best spots to eat and drink in this...
