L'Aixeta — Restaurant in Sitges

I pretty much enjoyed my dinner at this restaurant. It is located in the center of Sitges, and it’s very easy to find. I picked this place after checking Google Reviews, which were mostly positive, and I did not regret it. The restaurant is nicely designed. Everything inside looked very clean, and all the furniture was in good condition. There were 3 people working at the restaurant the night I visited, and they were all super sweet to me, especially the guy who worked at the bar. The service was pretty fast, including the time it took to prepare my food. To be honest, the staff did not speak good English, but we found a way to communicate, and I was able to place my order without any issues. I decided to order classic Spanish bread with tomato, croquettes, and patatas Bravas. All the food was very tasty, especially the croquettes. I only wish there had been more tomato paste on the bread because they put a very light layer, and I couldn’t taste the tomato flavor much. Otherwise, I have nothing negative to say about the food. To drink, I ordered a cup of tea. Unfortunately, they did not have a big selection of teas, so I had to settle for just a regular black tea; boring! Also, the tea cup was super small; they should serve tea in bigger cups. My bill for everything was €22.40, and I found it a little overpriced, specifically the prices of Patatas Bravas and bread with tomato. The restaurant accepts credit cards, including Apple Pay, which is a big plus. I can absolutely recommend this place...

Refused service on the terrace After supporting this bar after the lockdown I was shocked that last Saturday I was refused service on the terrace. During the week ( & after lockdown eased ) myself & a group of friends have been drinking coffee on the terrace and enjoying being outside . We all usually have two coffees each & usually sit for about 30 mins. Last Saturday on my way around town shopping I thought I’d pop in for a quick coffee (by myself). To save the waitress legs I walked to the door and ordered a coffee & turned around to go back to the terrace when the waitress shouted “ you cannot have coffee on the terrace, only inside” I wanted to take my coffee outside where I can have a cigarette with my coffee. The terrace was not busy, half the terrace was laid up for lunch but only one table having lunch & one table with people drinking beers. I appreciate you would prefer people who would want lunch But by refusing a customer who comes when you’ve not been busy is a bad move. I went to the bakery / cafe next door to have my coffee & cigarette. I had two coffees and stayed about 30 minutes. In that time nobody else sat down on your terrace. You didn’t gain any customers in that half an hour but lost some who have now found somewhere else to meet up for coffee. Customer loyalty is far more important than the chance someone will sit down for lunch. Remember single people drink coffee & single people...

Después de mil y un sitio visitados y miles de fotos publicadas L'Eixeta ha conseguido lo que nunca hago; una mala reseña(comprobar) . PLEASE VER COMENTARIO AL FINAL DEL ENCARGADO, DE TRACA.

No es por el local, ni como se come ,si no, por empatía 0.

Me explico, seguramente el local tiene un uso muy estricto de la barra, pero hoy en mi caso con un ataque ciatica fuerte, lo único que me va bien es estar de pie y explicándolo por 2 veces me lo han denegado diciendo que vaya a una barra a media altura que me hace estar encorvado, vamos ideal para la ciatica.

LO QUE ME INDIGNA ES QUE EL LOCAL ESTA VACIO COMO SE VE EN LA FOTO. DECÍA QUE MOLESTABA PARA EL PASO DE LA OTRA CAMARERA. Please ver foto, es casi de chiste, me reiría si no fuera porque me duele.

Doy 2 gracias cuando han traído torreznos (bastante buenos dicho sea de paso) y una Turia. Respuesta silencio.

Seguramente tengo un mal día, que lo tengo. Y que malos días tenemos todos. Pero creo que si ves a alguien tocado, que va a estar a lo sumo 20 minutos puedes transigir un poco.

Pensé calla que ocupas el lugar de salida de pedidos, pero no, en mi segundo e infructuoso intento pido si puedo estar detrás de un gran ramo de flores en el que no molesto absolutamente a nadie. Pero no.

Seguramente es un encanto de profesional en otras condiciones u con otras personas, pero hoy me he sentido mal atendido y sin empatía ninguna.

No reclamo ni una sola disculpa, sólo una reflexión de que las normas están bien, pero en un local vacio si hay alguien un poco apurado tengamos un poco de cintura.

Por todo lo demás recomendable, eso sí, sin ciatica :-)

Altooooooooo, rectificoooooo ahora si me ofende!!!! Ahora SI dejan tomar en la barra, NO A UNA PERSONA ,SI NO A DOS TOMAR ALGO EN LA BARRA!!!. BRUTAL. AHORA SI UN -5, SIMPLEMENTE BRUTAL. VER SECUENCIA COPAS PLEASE.

Solo mejora la historia , EL ENCARGADO dice que si me duele la espalda me quede en casa, que no cargue mi malestar sobre ellos. AHHH CALLAAAA SOLO ES UN LOCAL PARA PERSONAS SIN NINGÚN TIPO PATOLOGÍA O MOLESTIA.

Que cada uno saque sus conclusiones. Me dicen que no me van a traer un sofá para mi... obviamente nadie lo ha pedido.

YO NERVIOSO CON LA SITUACIÓN, PERO TELA DE NERVIO EL DEL ENCARGADO.

OJO! solo solicité un rincón de la barra, como los otros clientes para tomar algo.

Lejos de darme la razón, aunque sea para calmar ánimos echa leña al fuego. Que llevo 30 minutos allí!!!! Imagínate!!!! Que los de la cerveza se iban a ir rápido , pues mira, ni se lo han preguntado a ellos, ni me han dado la oportunidad de decidir tomar algo rápido de pie a mi.

SOLO GANAS DE JUSTIFICAR LO INJUSTIFICABLE

VAYA GESTIÓN..., con lo fácil que habría...
