Ok restaurant though overpriced for the quality of experience. For a 95€ bill for 1 person I should leave feeling exhilarated and satisfied not merely blah. I had the gambas alioli as a starter which was quite good and a glass of the house cava. My main was the recommended sea bass...the manager or person who seemed like the manager said it was grilled but it tasted baked. His recommendation was bc I questioned the baked gilt head and of course for 9 euro more he claimed the sea bass was not only better but grilled..but it wasn't. I had a half bottle of a local red which was also overpriced but tasty and a good choice for my meal. And for dessert, the 17€ cheese platter that no one could tell me what cheeses were on the platter before ordering...the same manager guy said oh a hard cheese and a soft and a french... I was like ummm right ok. In any case the meal was good, but not exciting and the wait staff was kind and attentive. But the disinterested manager who rushed me out the restaurant bc they were closing..who also didn't have a problem giving me a cheese platter 15 min earlier for 17€ was as much a turn off as the ants attracted to the corner of my table that I had to keep shooing away. On the plus side they did include a palate opener that was delicious and finishing plate of chocolate and fruit ice. So for almost 100€ spent, ants, and average food at a supposed Michelin star restaurant I'd quicker go to a tavern and spend 1/10th for tapas and...

Saw this restaurant as we walked by, we did not look at the menu when we booked we just decided it looked nice and that it would be one of our more expensive night out. We sat on the terrace and were handed this gigantic menu, whichever thought was odd as there was no need for a menu of that size. That was until we went inside and noticed the theme. Inside is like the titanic with a wooden stair case, lovely upholstered chairs and pictures on the wall. It is really something special. We ordered half starters and that was a perfect amount for us ( chicken croquettes and prawns). One could argue that the half prawns was big enough even if you were hungry. For main we got the stuffed squid and beef cheek. This was amazing. I got the cheek and it was just so tender and the mash potato was by far the best I've ever had. Many would turn their nose up at beef cheek having not tried It before and I being a picky eater can understand that but if you liked beef you would order a second one of these. The wait staff were attentive and friendly. All and all it was a really pleasant evening. Best dinner we have had in...

Excellent dishes and a classy decor......but at checkout it turned out that the prices stated on the menus were increased with an extra 10% tax. The person in charge pointed us to the mention on the menu, somewhere at the bottom of the page .This restaurant already charges fairly high prices for the admittedly high quality it offers (we paid about 200€ for 2 people), but both in Spain and in most Euro countries it is mandatory to state the prices INCLUDING taxes and service. This practice is therefore illegal and is being practiced despite reviews from previous years from customers who denounce it. After considerable discussion, the bill was adjusted, but this event is a stain on the reputation of this restaurant. We visited during our 2 weeks vacation along the Spanish coast every day a different restaurant, but nowhere did we get this treatment. In the end we were rudely requested never to return...and we certainly...

Our favorite restaurant in Sitges. Grab a lunch reservation if dinner is full because the food is worth it. The servers have a little difficulty with English but it is okay. We were provided with great recommendations. Every place we tried afterward were only copies of the best options we tried at Maricel. Compliments to the chef! They make the best plate of roast vegetables and the tomato strawberry gazpacho is the best you will have anywhere. Opt to sit indoors to avoid the smokers. Only warning is that other reviewers are correct. For some reason they ask you to order dessert before you are served anything. They recommended their version of a warm cookie bake with ice cream, which was nice. Quite frankly the BJ’s bazookie is much better. Otherwise all of the Spanish food is exceptional. Do not miss this spot if you have the chance.
