Amazing experience at redbar. We went twice on our recent holiday to Barcelona. As a family of 6 it's not always easy to find good food at reasonable prices. The first time we went to redbar we were a bit unsure as the menu is 60 pages! And we didn't think the food would be fresh but we were so wrong! The food was fresh, unbelievably tasty and unreal value. The second time we went we ordered a bit more liberally and got the sushi platter - it did take a long time to come out but we didn't mind that at all because they were making it fresh and it was gorgeous. My kids ordered burgers, battered cheesy nachos, combo plates, we got cocktails and soft drinks and it was only € 120. The staff were really nice too and the restaurant was very clean. I really wanted to enjoy this place, but unfortunately, the experience didn’t live up to expectations. The food tasted very processed and lacked freshness, and there were a surprising number of gnats and flies, especially around the beer fountain, which made the atmosphere quite unpleasant.

Against my better judgment, I ended up eating here and it turned out to be a mistake. I wouldn’t recommend it based on my visit.

That said, I do want to point out that the customer service was great the staff were kind and attentive. It’s possible I caught the place on an off day, and I genuinely hope others have a better experience.

Nuestra experiencia de hoy ha sido de lo más penoso y patético que recuerdo en mucho tiempo. Entrar en esta pizzeria (que no es más que un telepizza reconvertido), en pleno Festival de Sitges, con solo una mesa ocupada y un tío completamente desbordado en su imaginación. Éramos 4 personas y de malas maneras nos ha dicho que tendríamos que esperar más de media hora, que tenía un pedido de 80 euros y que tenía preferencia. Desde el minuto 1 ya se ha visto que se nos quería quitar de encima. De hecho los que venían detrás nuestro tras escuchar lo de la media hora (que ha dicho muy maleducadamente) han dado media vuelta. Hemos accedido y ha tardado 10 minutos en pedirnos qué queríamos. Desde la primera pizza todo han sido problemas. Que si esto no, que si esto no puede ser, que si me pides este ingrediente voy a tardar más de media hora, bla bla bla. Total, que tras 10 minutos de hacer el panoli, de ver las caras que nos ponía al pedir, de que éramos un problema, de que todo era un problema, y del desborde mental que llevaba el tío, no hemos tenido más remedio que irnos.
