Pizzeria Napoletana — Restaurant in Tías

Wow. Considering that it used to be our go to place for pizza, we've been left dumbfounded tonight by our experience at Pizzeria Neapolatano.

Started ok, with beer in the boot shaped glass and the starter was ok, even though the topped bruscetta that was advertised was actually just a big slice of normal bread.

We ordered a "gourmet" chorizo pizza and an "Indiavalo" which was supposed to come with red hot chillies. Much as I tried I could not find a single trace of chorizo on my pizza and Nicola's pizza tasted of nothing but capers. No heat at all.

We barely ate a quarter of a pizza between us, and unusually, actually complained. We were probably too generous and said we'll just pay for one pizza and the 2 beers we had. Luckily they didn't try to charge for the expensive one or we might have been there arguing still. When they brought the reduced bill the guy was still trying to say there was chorizo on the pizza. Told him I've lived here 13 years. I know what chorizo looks and tastes like.

In summary people, avoid like the plague.

20 Euro for 2 beers, a bit of bread and less than a quarter of a pizza. Great...

I normally don't write reviews, but I feel the business owners and the public should know how I was treated. We have eaten here plenty of times over the years. We have never had a problem until now. The man who served us on our first night was extremely ignorant, and to be honest, he made us feel unwelcome. We still enjoyed our food as always and still left a tip . We gave this establishment the benefit of the doubt as everyone has a bad day. I went back 2 nights later to get takeaway pizzas, and the same man went to take my order. He still had the same attitude, if not worse. When I told him the order, he said this was not possible and went to give me the menu. I told him I ordered the same here 2 nights prior. He continued to say it was not possible, so I left straight away due to his attitude, and I will not return. The food is great and the rest of the staff is probably great but because of this one staff member we will not return. If I were the owner of this establishment, then I would be giving him his notice. He does not know how to work...

Absolutely fantastic this place. We went here 3 days in a row for dinner after we found this place on Google Maps. Many people ignore it and thats because its located on the first floor. Most people do not look up when walking down the beach promenade. Food is amazingly delicious and surprisingly cheap for what you get. Service could not be better. We booked a tsble the first day. They have a terrace with glass front so you can watch the people below you walking by. We ordered the first starter and our main dishes. After the starter we decided to order another one because it was so delicious. They must have communicated this internally as they waited to serve our main dishes after the second starter and it was served perfectly prepared and hot. 101%...
