Sunset Beach — Restaurant in Tías

Been to this bar while we were in puerto del Carmen as a family of three, husband , wife and a 6 year old and it was the first bar where they made us feel welcome and most importantly made my child feel welcome! And the bonus was the music quiz every night at 9.30! I can’t say enough about this place! I just wanted to mention the following people who work there: Lisa, Aine and Jamie and Dan… thank you all so much for making us feel so welcome and for making such a fuss of my daughter! It was the highlight of her holiday! Every single one of you! And when the music quiz was on and the bonus rounds where you would win a shot, Dan and Jamie would make a shot for my daughter with juice so she could join in. Especially when one of the questions was ‘who’s SpongeBobs best friend’ and my daughter being a SpongeBob fanatic screams at the top of her voice ‘PATRICK’ she had an absolute ball! Lisa took her to get her ice cream and have her a t shirt too and she had it one once and won’t put it back on cause she doesn’t want to ruin it cause it’s her job! I was on a hoilday one the 6 of September too the 13th 2023 ,this hotel slash apartments are very old sliding doors nearly fell of bedroom window the same ,bed frames were filty ,big step into Bathroom ,holes in sheets when got changed mattress was bigger then frame we had to sleep on a pull out bed, patio furniture was old and dirty ,playground for kids had big holds in it no air condition wooden floors were all liften up peice of floors were lifted ,kitchen was old ,there was a phone but when I lifted it there was no sound it wasn't connected whole place needed a good paint ,I was only over a knee replacement and fell when I tryed to get into the bathroom as the step up was so high,we checked out at 12 & had to sit in lounge 5 hours there was a sighn say bar tho when went up it was empty as in there was nothing open I went up to desk I told the girl at reception and her reply was well if your not happy move too another hotel after paying 1,500euro for a week it was disgraceful I would not recommend this hotel out &...

Absolutely shocked how our visit went from being 10/10 to a complete shambles of a quiz night! Not about the winning it’s about gaining the knowledge along the way. But to spending ur euros all night in the bar to doing the quiz and them Dumping ur quiz sheets in a sink is beyond me! How can you see where u went wrong and how you truly did judge upon people’s judgments without you being able to get your own sheet bk afterwards! A shambles !
