If you’re looking for a memorable dining experience, Fantastico is unforgettable—for all the wrong reasons. I went in with an open mind, hoping for something at least decent, but left wondering if I’d ever trust a restaurant again.

First off, the ambiance has a bit of charm, but it’s completely undermined by the truly terrible food. “Inedible” is almost too kind a word. I ordered their so-called signature starter (starter fantastico! 🙈), which is basically anything they have left over which can be deep fried, including a banana 🤷🏻‍♂️. For my main I opted for the mixed grill, a mistake we won’t make twice. Overcooked, rubbery, and barely seasoned, it seemed like it had been pre-cooked days before. As for the sides? The vegetables seemed like an odd stewed mush, absolutely horrible.

Service was… indifferent, to put it mildly. When we politely mentioned that the food wasn’t great, they shrugged and said, “That’s how it’s made here.” Not a word of apology he just bought a bottle of what I think was meant to be Limoncello and told us to drink as much as we wanted.

To add insult to injury, the bill was way out of line for the quality we received. We left hungry, disappointed, and absolutely certain we won’t be back. There are too many fantastic restaurants out there to waste a night at Fantastico. If you value your taste buds—and your money—go...

We are walking around to choose a restaurant for dinner. We stop at several places to read the menus. At most places, there are bouncers who stop you and try to get you into their restaurant. At Restaurante Fantástico, we are standing as usual, reading the menu when the bouncer comes over and starts talking a lot. I just ask him to wait a bit so that my group and I can read the menu and discuss. Apparently, the bouncer wasn't used to being told to calm down because then he starts yelling that there are no tables, that we can move on, that we are not welcome, etc. It felt very uncomfortable. In fact, I was just about to suggest to my group that we eat here, but naturally, we moved on to a popular place not far away that didn't need a bouncer. There, they were friendly, had good service, and good food – exactly how you want it to be.

I strongly warn against this place, Restaurante Fantástico. If those representing the place do no better than this, there's certainly no ambition to try the place. I want to inform potential new guests about this. I also expect an apology from the owner, and if they wish, I can send a picture of the bouncer who insulted...
