The Auld Triangle — Restaurant in Tías

After getting great reports of this restaurant, we headed out and arrived the first time to it closed up... OK so we came back our last night after being to sheas the night it wasn't open... well we were led astray, we all ordered the steaks, 1 x medium to well done which came out like a brick, and 2 x medium to rare , 1 came out well done and half it was grizzle the other came out raw ( it was still alive and mooing !!!) , the staff all had the personality of potatoes, very disappointed and wouldn't recommend this restaurant to anyone, not unless you want a pet of a raw steak, only good point was the drink ( it was bottled though 😉)

Update to the owner on his response, busy body!!! Criticism much lol, learn how to cook a steak, teach your staff how to smile and interact with customers, family run from Drimnagh, you bring shame to Dublin 12 .... 152 reviews of pure honesty, how many brown envelopes given to people to write a good review....

The food was outstanding, but unfortunately, our dining experience was marred by slow service. We chose to sit outside, and my mom had to go inside to request drinks and place our order she was told to wait for the waitress at the table. Our table was still cluttered with the previous patrons' drinks, and we were told they would be cleared, but after waiting for 20 minutes, I had to go inside and request both drink and food orders, my drink order was taken but I was told to order food at the table. Another 15 minutes passed before the waitress finally took our food order and cleared the table. Payment was a hassle, as I had to wait in a queue at the till, which was understaffed, and some customers were allowed to skip ahead. Additionally, the high chair provided for my 13-month-old didn't have a strap or table, making it impractical for him to use. Best bar in Matagorda and Lanzarote. Have been going here since 2007. Have absolutely loved it from the first time. Great family run Irish bar with an international clientele. Very nicely situated in the Matagorda commercial centre. Inside is not the biggest (covid constraints) but there is plenty of outdoor seating, biggest area in the centre. Plenty of drinks options and offers all day. Lots of draught beers including guiness, bulmers/magners, coors aswell as good auld tropical. The food served is top class, never had an issue to complain about. The sunday roasts are out of this world. Get in early so the meat options dont run out. The evening entertainment is varied with different singers but watch out for Dave Snr and his karaoke, he will convince you to sing. All the staff are so friendly and helpful.
