Timbayba — Restaurant in Tías

Timbayba was very busy when we arrived - we thought this would be the sign of good things to come - unfortunately not. The service was terrible, we waited well over an hour for food, people who came in after us got served way before us - I can only assume being the youngest people there they prioritised the older guests, fine but it became ridiculous! The food finally arrived without even an apology from the staff about our wait, the food itself was average at best, the pizza we ordered was so hard that my mouth was sore afterwards! I have never had a dry pizza before! The best part of my meal was the garlic dip which made the food tolerable. I have never been so annoyed or disappointed by an experience at restaurant before. It was even a faff to get the bill! The staff were rude, and uninterested and there is not a chance I would ever recommend going here. We had dinner here yesterday. The atmosphere was nice and welcoming and the service was good. The food was hit and miss for me.

We had garlic bread for starters, and we thoroughly enjoyed them. My partner had creamy tagliatelle with salmon, and he enjoyed his meal. I had the barbecue ribs with chips and vegetables. The vegetables were tasty and flavoursome. The ribs were ok, a bit chewy for me.

My partner had the profiteroles while I had the cheesecake. The cheesecake was unusual, no biscuit base and gooey on the inside. I didn't like it and I couldn't eat it. Desserts were a let down and overpriced at €6.9.5 for the cheesecake.

The head waiter was very rude to me, I only wanted to know if they had a spare table, he shouted at me to "come here", so like a good girl, I did, he told me to sanitize, I said I already had, with my own, not good enough, apparently. We ordered garlic bread and foccicca for starters, we waited fifty minutes before it arrived, as soon as we finished, the mains came, a group of girls came in, ordered pizza's and chips, within ten to fifteen minutes their food arrived, so why the wait for us, we had pasta for the main, tomato based, it tasted like cream was in it, not good at all, would...
