Yum Yum — Restaurant in Tías

If there's one place that you have to go for breakfast. We highly recommend going here. The staff here is so friendly, willing to have the chat with you as you wait for your delicious slice of home. And it wasn't that we were even out in Lanzarote that long, no chance to even be homesick. But it was nice to see the quality and the extra effort in the food and also the sourcing of back home products. Of the few times we ate here, the chat was neverending and friendliness to customers was off the charts. So many back home treats to be found here. From the pies to the full Irish breakfast. On the weekend this place can get very busy, so best come here early. Because the kitchen is slightly small serving times can get a little longer during busier moments. However even if you have to wait, I know that you'll love the food as well. What I will say is during the winter months, the morning breeze can be a little cutting. Because this place is small all tables are outside. Which means that you may want to dress warmer. The price here is exceptionally reasonable. Well other places may offer cheaper prices, this place offers quality and fantastic value for your price. You will not be disappointed you can care. A couple of the days were a bit cold for wifey so Happy had to order takeaway. I never usually judge places on takeaway, because food just does not travel well even 10 minutes is a big difference. However they make all accommodations for takeaway and the breakfast is just as good. And you can tell the tea is good by the image alone. The water is surprising high quality just by how clear it is. No scum at all....

Proper Irish cafe with an excellent full Irish breakfast, however many other nearby places are cheaper.

Decent coffee. Don't get a cappuccino though. Pretty sure it's one of the instant sweetened sachets.

For tea lovers they have both Barry's and Lyons tea for a taste of home!

Full deli counter available filled with all the usual items you'd expect.

Plenty of lunch options.. Baguettes, Sandwiches, Lasagna, Pies, Salads, Fries.. although I can't comment as we've only had breakfast here.

The couple who run the place are so friendly as well. Very welcoming.

However biggest problem for me is the fact they are cash only.. Everywhere takes...

We have been eating in Yum Yums since we started coming to PDC about 20 years ago. We always order our rolls for the airport and we often have breakfast or lunch while we are here. Their hot chicken rolls and chips are fabulous and yesterday’s was better than ever. Thank you so, so much for amazing food and always a warm welcome.
