My favourite place to eat in Tarragona now! Love it!

Has a lot of delicious traditional Catalan food, which I was honestly struggling to find a place like this in Tarragona. Also is open past 6 (supposedly until 12 am, but haven't checked), which is also uncommon 🥲

Staff are nice and speak basic English, plenty to understand each other

I was a little suspicious initially, because the first time I went there, there weren't many people, and no one was ordering any food. Plus, the menu size is pretty big, and that put me off a bit as well. The other times there were more people, so I felt more at ease

But anyway, food is good! Definitely...

Regular and ok food , price cheapm , you can get your typical 'plats cominats' combined plates with sausages, chips , salad and an egg . Around 7€ . You can also get tappers and paella however it's not gonna be a 5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐ paella more like a 1 ⭐ ... The service is fast and ran by a Chinese family . They do not serve Asian food though. Good thing about it: Off the Rambla Nova and it's a peatonal street closed off from transit so it's nice and quiet. Good to go there if you're with kids. They have a terrace however the inside isn't that pleasant. Bathroom's old fashioned but the toilets...

A rather average place with average food. The boquerones were completely drenched in garlic and parsley, which totally killed the vinegar marinade. The gazpacho was OK but loveless - and I prefer when you get to add the goodies yourself. The pinchitos were prepared completely without love and the chicken nuggets for the kid came straight from the freezer.
