Unfortunately a group of 4 of us had the worst restaurant experience possible over the weekend. When we arrived at the restaurant we highlighted the fact that the white plastic tables out the back were not big enough for the 4 of us to fit all of our plates and drinks on - they responded saying everything would fit and refused to move us inside to a larger table for 4 (the also refused to allow us to put two white tables together) when it would clearly end up being very uncomfortable for us all to eat and enjoy our drinks/wine etc. After a short period, they eventually allowed us to move inside after asking multiple times. We then waited almost two hours for our food to arrive after complaining that other guests who arrived after us were served 2 courses before we got anything. When the food eventually arrived, they had clearly forgotten about our order and brought out the completely wrong food to us (Wrong pasta sauce, beef burger instead of chicken), and not only that, two of us ordered chicken fajitas and they brought out one sad portion for us and told us to share it (it was clearly not a portion for two and the food was rushed out). We got up and left the restaurant angry however we did pay for the drinks we received - however when paying the server tried to charge us for 3 rounds of drinks when we only received one. This was absolutely disgraceful service. We received no apology also!! We wasted an entire evening due to this restaurant as we had to go eat in a different restaurant across the road and we only ended up having half an hour to enjoy a couple drinks after our meal. Read moreOne of the nicer things about Casa Blanca and its food is that, considering the quality, it's refreshingly unassuming. It's not a 5/5, but for the price it really gets close!
I can wholeheartedly stand by the steak (medium rare in my case), which was almost cooked to perfection. The foil-wrapped potato that accompanies it is pretty much just a potato, but the salad is a fair bit more interesting. And things get A LOT more interesting once you get to the sauces laid out in two unassuming stripes, which truly bring the meal to life. My only regret is that there wasn't more of both since I squandered half on either on the potato and not the meat.
The same, borderline unassuming, nigh underseasoned experience continues into the crème brûlée, which might sound like a bad thing, but the balance it strikes is strangely to the point and really made me feel bad about all the calories I wanted to eat.
Is it the one experience I would take to a deserted island with me? Although I'd be perfectly happy with it, sadly probably no. Then again, the above selection costs just €18 (the rest of the images are what others at my table had) and the large beer is only €3. This is a huge factor in my 5/5, because I've sampled a number of 4+ score restaurants in a similar price range on Lanzarote and at it its current 4.3, at least my personal experience puts them...

against my better judgement I gave them the benefit of the doubt and went for a meal to try the paella, menu says Paella for 2 people 17 Euros ish, (food was good 👍🏻)when the bill arrived the Paella was charged twice, I escorted the friendly pushy front of house waiter to the menu and pointed out the price stating for 2 people 17Euros, when I pointed the fact it says for 2 people, he started making a scene in front of the whole restaurant while inviting his colleagues to join in on the action, at this point the whole restaurant was looking at my partner and I, ruined my meal and evening for the sake of questioning the bill, the menu needs updating so it is no longer mis representing what you are getting for the money, the Paella is charged twice. I was informed everyone's menus in the area says the same (incorrect) other menus say P.P = Per Person 🤦🏻♂️.
P.S a qualification in hospitality should have...
