Went out for tea on last night away with the other half. Looked decent from the outside and busy. All signs pointed to a good experience but that's where it ended. Ordered drinks and then two pizzas. Mine had two long hairs (we're two men with short cut hair) in it. One between the cheese and the tomato and another between the base and the plate. Might have let the first one go but found the second in the same quarter of the pizza! Anyway, notified the waiting staff and received a replacement pizza 20 mins later. Hubby was put off his pizza when I sent mine back but had made it to halfway and had no more. I had lost a bit of my appetite when mine came but it looked good and managed just less than half but here's the best bit. No one came to see if we wanted more drinks during our entire visit (an hour) or check how thing were. And then, when I asked for the bill (only €30 so not a lot) and said I wasn't prepared to pay all of it the most unruly lady came out. Wait for this... Apparently due to the wind the hairs must have blown into my first pizza. I mean could you believe it. I explained that was impossible as they were both either within the pizza with the melted cheese or underneath it. Anyway got no joy and was told they fixed it by making me another pizza. I get it but far far away from decent customer service and we only at half of the food so at least expected an acknowledgement of that. That lady needs to get a job she likes. I am enraged by the total lack of customer service, it was shocking. Anyway don't bother going, I'm sure some food from there will be okay but the service is appalling. We booked this restaurant as 4 years ago we had visited and had a perfect night, top class food, service and staff were so friendly!! Not this time! Table for 9 and a high chair was booked by us and a request to be seated outside. It was my father in laws birthday. We arrived and the waitress was very abrupt and rude with a miserable face, we asked if we were outside (as we requested) we were told “Not possible” even though the restaurant was virtually empty! so we were seated inside. The waiter with the dark hair and beard came over to take our drinks order then the miserable waitress came to take our food order. My father in law asked if we could order our mains after we’d eaten our starter ( to give us time to digest)we were told quite abruptly “not possible”. We cannot fault the food as it was delicious but the service from that waitress was unacceptable, which caused an atmosphere and we felt rushed. We have not recommended this restaurant to anyone who has asked us about good restaurants. We wondered whether it was because we were english and we’d read that British are not welcome in lanzarote. As a family last year and previous 20 years we spent a lot of money in Costa teguise and on this island. To be honest we normally stay at the Santa Rosa apartments and even these have gone downhill. We will not be visiting lanzarote again. We’ll stick to fuerteventura and Italy like last year where they cannot do enough to make you feel welcome....

Went here last night for dinner. I ordered the penne arabiatta as I’m a vegetarian so choices abroad are limited but pasta and tomato sauce is fool proof in my opinion. However this was not the case in this restaurant. The pasta came out completely hard and undercooked. I ate 2 mouthfuls so left the entire meal. I told one of the waiters that it wasn’t cooked properly and was actually inedible, he simply said ‘ok’ and just took it away. That was the end of that. When the bill was brought over the meal that I hadn’t eaten was still on there. I then spoke to a lady who is apparently a so called ‘manager’ who was beyond rude. When I explained to her the issue she simply said ‘well you should have told us’ even though I had told the other male waiter previously. She then basically said regardless if it was undercooked and I didn’t eat any of it we still had to pay for it and there was nothing they were willing to do to rectify the situation. I then had to go and buy myself another dinner elsewhere. The staff in this place need a serious refresh in customer service and to not take advantage of people just because they are tourists. Disgusting service and food, would not recommend - save your money and go to El Patio opposite, much better food and much...
