Habana 6 — Restaurant in Teguise

I don't often say this but wish we had visited again before we left Lanzarote! The staff were all friendly and spoke good English (not an expectation on my part). Accommodating for 7 of us without a booking. Sat outside in the lovely courtyard/ square under a parasol to enjoy the warmth of the day without being battered by the wind or needing to put another layer of sunlotion on. Good choice of drinks - I had peach juice. Coke, beer, gins etc. One member of the team bought over a cushion for one of our tired kids. Chef bought over the meat being used for the special to show us before we decided on our order. I think they said nearly 100% of the food was homemade except the ice cream. We couldn't decide on starters so ordered a few to share. Amazing food! Nice to have BBQ ribs with really tasty veg selection (not you're standard 'chips/fries'. Really reasonably priced I think for the quality of food and service. Highly recommend. We stumbled upon it at lunchtime when using Google reviews to find somewhere decent to eat. If didn't disappoint and I don't know what to suggest that would have improved it other than they do ask for toilet roll to go in the bin. But the toilets were really clean. We turned up without a reservation quite early on and managed to get a lovely seat in the courtyard. The setting was gorgeous but I would definitely recommend reserving a table ahead of time as most tables had reserved signs on them.

We ordered our starters and they were very fresh and tasty. Unfortunately though, we felt quite rushed as I was eating my starter and the server came over and took the plates away while I was still eating.

Our mains came and all I can say about the seafood mixed grill is WOW. It was incredible and I definitely recommend ordering it. My fiancé ordered the meat mixed grill and it was also amazing, however some of the lamb cutlets were quite small and just fat, no meat. The fillet steak and iberico ham were incredible though! There was also 2 different purées on both our mains. The sweet potato one was gorgeous but the lighter coloured one was quite over powering and sickly tasting. The whole meal with a bottle of wine, water and service charge added by Habana 6 was €97.

As a whole we would definitely recommend it as the food was great, a bit more on the expensive side but you definitely get you pay for in terms of good quality fresh...

I fully recommend to everyone, the food is out of this world and it is presented beautifully as well as the seats being perfect for all size people even if they don’t look like it , in my opinion if you are a steak lover ask the waiter if they have any tomahawk steak , they have varied sizes and if you sit outside they give you a grill that allows you to cook the steak your self but not inside due to smoke alarms but either way it will be the best steak you will ever have furthermore the atmosphere is lovely and they staff are lovely although there can be a wait sometimes they make it up to you with free shots or drinks they really try the hardest as well as the place being full of Spanish people which just proves how lovely the food is as well as the location being beautiful it is out the way yet has a lovely atmosphere as it is next to a beautiful bar called el ficus I fully recommend to everyone if your vegetarian a meat lover or got kids there is food for everyone as wells as it being cheap for the...
