Chu Lin Restaurante — Restaurant in Teguise

We have previously been to this Chinese last year and the food was good. Unfortunately, yesterday's visit was dire. Our starter was purchased from obviously a Chinese wholesaler; a small pork rib, wontons, and chicken nuggets. On the table was a chilli sauce, which failed to add any flavour to the bland deep fried food.

The main; chilli beef was a sweet diabetic inducing coma with again no taste. The mixed meat rice was again a brown sweet tasteless mess.

The reviews are very misleading so order with low expectations of it tasting anything like Chinese meals you have had in the past. I have abandoned the takeaway ordered in favour of a cold croissant. Simply poor quality. The crispy chilli beef does not resemble a crispy chilli beef in any shape or form. The duck pancakes had lumpy dough and was tasteless. A real disappointment and waste of money. This restaurant is by far the best Chinese in Costa Teguise. The staff go above and beyond for the customers, it was such a lovely atmosphere to dine in. We also ordered take away and ate on the balcony too, it was so quick from ordering less than 20 minutes and our food was ready steaming hot - fabulous food every time and unbelievable value for money.
