"La Aulaga in Costa Teguise provided a delightful dining experience that truly exceeded our expectations. From the moment we stepped in, the ambiance was welcoming and comfortable, setting the stage for a memorable meal. The tapas were the stars of the show, each dish bursting with flavor and presented beautifully. Not only were the flavors authentic and expertly crafted, but the prices were also surprisingly reasonable, adding to the overall value of the experience.
What truly set La Aulaga apart, however, was the exceptional service. The staff was extraordinarily friendly and patient, especially as I navigated the menu with my limited Spanish. Their willingness to help and ensure a pleasant experience was remarkable and greatly appreciated.
In summary, our visit to La Aulaga was a culinary delight. The combination of delicious tapas, affordable pricing, and outstanding service makes this a must-visit destination in Costa Teguise. We left with satisfied palates and the intention to return soon. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a genuine taste of local cuisine coupled with a warm, welcoming...

La Aulaga has a nice local charm, but our visit left us a little underwhelmed.
After being seated, we waited quite a while before anyone came to take our order. When someone finally did, we tried to order drinks and food together — only to be told that another person had to handle the food order. Not exactly efficient teamwork.
The garlic bread starter was small and a little dry — more “token nibble” than appetiser. When the paella for two arrived, it looked the part but lacked the sizzle (literally) we’ve enjoyed at other spots in Costa Teguise. Warm, yes — but not hot, and definitely not bursting with flavour.
To top it off, we asked for a glass of wine that never arrived, which added to the feeling of being a bit forgotten.
Verdict: La Aulaga could be pleasant with a bit more attention to service and consistency, but on our visit, it just didn’t...
Read moreI went eat here yesterday with my family, and we all were desapointed. The note do not reflect the food at all. The fried cheese was not crispy but greasy. I also had papas arrugadas, that were ok and sauces that were ok too. But the poulpo was squichy and leathery, with wirdly hard things in it. My sister found here plate too salty and the vegetables not cooked enough. Finally, we ordered desserts that were supposedly homemade, at least it was said to be homemade. The tarta de queso, a kind of cheesecake, was rough and not tasty at all. A part was ok but the other part was not cooked, and the texture of the cake was wird and not homogeneous. The wine was not outstanding but still good and the service was great, the people were smiling and nice. However I cannot recommend this restaurant, because the food is not really good. You can find better easily and enjoy tasty cake narian food in...
