Lots of cafés seem to have reviews claiming that they serve the best coffee on the island, but these guys really know what they’re doing and the coffee really is superb. The espresso is a medium (rather than the usual dark) roast with far more going on flavour-wise than is the norm. If you go at a quieter time, they’ll brew you an individual filter coffee; I had a really good natural Ethiopian from Copenhagen-based company April. Read moreA group of us had drinks at Oppa. Sadly the Leche Leche, Cortado's and Cafe Solo's were lukewarm when they arrived... Also all served in cups and saucers. Nice but not typical for a Cafe in Lanza.

Read moreOh what happiness to find a place like this! I had the October special brie and leek toasties... 100% guilty pleasure! The homemade lemonade was perfect too, not too sweet not too sour. My partner had the club sandwich.. Amazing too! Staff is helpful - I asked info about the brie and they informed me that all cheese they use is pasteurized. The terrace was full but we didn't have to wait, and the food came within 10min.
