Pintxos Shop — Restaurant in Teguise

Surprisingly impressive pintxos (refined taste!) At affordable price (2.5e ish)

I've had a lot of pitxos experience in Madrid but this place was clearly the best. First time in Teguise village in Lanzarote and looking for food, my first impression of Pintxos was that the name sounds a bit like a tourist-trap place.

But quickly I realized I was wrong. We took 4 pinxtos and all were very tasty. Not with some random combination of ingredients but all made sense: jamon iberico with a punch of sweet taste (dried apricot), salmon with crab meat + a bit of wasabi giving it a "peps" taste....

After getting ripped off at a restaurant for lunch (I will leave it unnamed, but you can check my history to find it 😜), what a pleasant surprise Pintxos Shop was! We went for dinner and drinks: €2.50 a Pintxo - I had a large appetite, and had 7 (needed after a terrible lunch!), but ordinarily I think 4-5 would perfectly satisfy a hungry traveler. Amazing place! Had a great coffee in there first thing in the morning before the market, and actually came back later for light lunch, as the atmosphere and service were so great. Thoroughly enjoyed the small sandwiches, of which they have multiple types, displayed neatly behind the glass. Such a lovely place that I'm leaving this review almost three months after my visit, having forgotten to do it...
