Antiu Xixona — Restaurant in Teguise

We visited this evening while walking the sea front. I ordered three small ice creams for my daughter's and myself and two cafe Americano's for my partner and i, a short while later a man bought us coffee and as we sat there wondering what kind of americano this was, with milk and cream on top, the lady who served me came up with the two americanos gave us a funny look and walked off looking annoyed taking the Americanos with her. There was a family sat close by who were waiting for their coffee order, which I think had been given to us. I went up and asked the lady for our Americano and she said yes then went off. 10 minutes later we were still waiting. The other family were still waiting and the lady had still not returned. We waited another 5 minutes and the We left having paid for two Americano which we did not receive. They made the mistake and I feel we were treated very badly. She took our coffee away and then basicly ignored even after we went up and asked for the correct coffee. Just shocked by the...

We came here about 5 times, and we tried many flavors. I think the creme brulee looking one was kinda bland, but everything else we tried was fantastic! The sorbets are excellent. I had the green apple, mandarin (my favorite), raspberry, and mango. The mango sorbet tastes like a freaking mango, and the citrus flavor in the mandarin is soooo good. The green apple is nice and tart. I've never had such good sorbet before, and I crave it now. We also had the triple chocolate, dark chocolate, blueberry cheesecake and turron. Another bonus is they let you choose two flavors in a single serving, so it's really nice to combine flavors like coconut and dark chocolate. The staff is really good at making recommendations...

Lovely ice cream and really good choice however let down by impolite staff members when enforcing Covid restrictions. The staff members seem to love to be able to tell their customers what to do and very abruptly. Look I have no issues with these being enforced and they are part of the government regulations. However noting that a lot of their customers are from different countries will not be familiar with the rules, the staff need to be more polite when enforcing these restrictions. Instead of shouting “Mask!” Or “Distance!” As soon as you walk in the shop, maybe the staff could politely ask for the rules to be followed because as I said foreign visitors may be unfamiliar with the rules.
