Restaurante El Albero — Restaurant in Toledo

What a wonderful and incredible surprise. We visited Toledo for the day and always prioritize a great local meal. The city center is crowded and quite touristic. After much research i discovered El albero. It is outside the city center in a local neighborhood and we can't recommend it enough. It was this balance of incredible service that was also comfortable and welcoming. Two woman ran the dining experience (in the main dining room and terrace) from what we could see - the primary server was one of the most lovely people ever - she helped guide us through the menu and was a pure joy. She was supported by another woman who was equally wonderful - a true team effort.

The food is EXCEPTIONAL. We had the "Russian Salad", Lemon Fish" and "Oxtail" - all incredible, but the Oxtail really stood out as something special. This place is our favorite type of place when we travel. There was no English menu (something we take as a sign of something much more special than one that caters to tourists, and yes there are many great restaurants with menus in English). An Exceptional Experience at Albero

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Albero in Toledo, and it truly exceeded all expectations. From the moment we arrived, the service was impeccable. The staff, particularly our waiter, was incredibly attentive and friendly, recommending dishes from the new menu that turned out to be absolutely fantastic.

We chose the black rice and ceviche, and both were an absolute delight – perfectly balanced flavours and beautifully presented. It's clear that great care goes into every dish.

The atmosphere was equally noteworthy. Calm, cosy, and ideal for enjoying a rainy afternoon in Toledo. Albero is undoubtedly the perfect spot to combine exceptional food, outstanding service, and a relaxed setting. I would highly recommend it...

My wife and I were traveling around Spain to celebrate her birthday and we had a great moment at El Albero restaurant. The El Albero associates were super friendly and attentive to explain all the courses of the tasting menu.
