Amura Restaurante — Restaurant in Torremolinos

Some things they won't tell you about this place. First is that Tarik Cafe and Amura Restaurante are now the same thing meaning the Amura site is useless as the menu page doesn't work anymore. The Tarik cafe menu is basically 90% of the menu now.

The food is 10/10 but there are some massive massive gaps in the service. The staff is flying around, rushing everything and despite their effort it is simply a flop that can and will mess up your mood.

They will come to ask your order 3 times in 1 minute despite you are clearly still reading. They would bring a bottle of tap water but just 1 glass for the one who ordered it. There is as many napkins on the table as there are people and there are no extra brought, you need to ask...and if need be ask again... Hopefully you get noticed as it is 3 people tending after 3 restaurant saloons and a bar with garden seats so they literally run to catch up.

And now the 2 stars reason. If you ask if the deserts are in the menu they will give you the desserts menu AND CLEAR YOUR TABLE of all other food, without asking if you are done. It happened to me, the waitress gave me a dessert menu (didnt ask for it, it was for my wife) and I asked twice why did they take my half eaten food away without asking if I am finished. I look at the table and there is my beer but the fries from the burger are gone. Asked but the english words are hard to catch when you are running around 100mph. Then, when they ask you for a 3rd time if you have chosen dessert ... with beer in your hand and not looking at the menu I just aksed for the same food to be served to me, just the part they took away without asking if I am finished. Clearly they don't get a word of what I am saying as they brought me a full fries dish, no questions, no time to listen, no explanations. When delivered I returned the parts I dont care about immediately trying to explain again how they messed up my evening, even worse ... nothing they cant listen, they move non stop no idea what I was saying.

Food charged full price + 10% service tip... maybe I dont want to leave a tip, not an option.

Never coming back despite staying at the hotel for 3 more days. Such a shame, awful...
