AVOID! Worst experience I’ve ever had at a restaurant. I ordered a steak (medium cooked), when it arrived I had one bite and I was chewing the meat for around 5 minutes and had to spit it out. I then thought it may have just been a bad part of the meat so tried another side which was also inedible, I had to spit this out as well. I asked the waiter (who was very pleasant) if I could either have another steak or if they were able to cook it more so it was edible. It looked like the chef had just put it in the microwave for 2 minutes when it came back out, when I tried another bite I was still unable to eat it, again chewing the same bit of meat for 5 minutes at least. I asked to send it back. The owner of the restaurant then came down and was incredibly aggressive claiming that because I had 3 bites (none of which I was able to eat and all had to be spat out) I had to pay for the entire meal and if I didn’t he would call the police. It also seems by looking at other reviews I am not the only one who’s had a similar experience. Again just a terrible experience and would never recommend anyone to go
EDIT: As per the owners response.. I said I’d be happy to have another steak however was told I would still have to pay for the inedible steak even if I got a new meal and if I didn’t pay they would call the police so after this I felt I didn’t want to have anything else to do with...
Read moreThis is a joke not a restaurant. The waiter is more interested in the presence of friends than customers. You have to wait a long time for everything. Unfortunately, there is no professionalism here when it comes to service. Waste of time. And most importantly, they use the presence of tourists and simply cheat as much as possible. Przylre and show that they have no respect for people visiting Malage Ps I think you have confused the fact that the restaurant and the waiter must take care of the customer. Just because the food has been eaten does not mean that you have to insult people using the premises that are maintained by the presence of the customer. Your explanation is embarrassing and suggests that the customer should not eat, pay and leave smiling. You thus confirm that the waiter finished his shift and did not want to explain the bad approach to the customer. This reflects badly on the owner. Then we ordered 4 tapas, because it was the first time we were in Spain and we wanted to try what it looks like. When paying, it turned out that the waiter charged us too large portions and not for tapas and we had to pay twice as much. The waiter was also not interested in our table, he was sitting at a table with someone for a beer. When asked for a manager, no one came. We are deceived.
PS. For your anserw Well, that's why we wanted to talk to the manager, because even the waiter who took the order didnt come to explaing situacion. We ate because we thought that this is what we ordered, that this is what your tapas portions look like. Other than that, the food was good, but it's weird that you're trying to pin the blame on us. And od course we paid for everything even more...
