LA CACEROLA STEAK HOUSE — Restaurant in Torremolinos

We stumbled across this restaurant by chance, and what a fantastic find it was! They kindly made up a table for our group of four adults and two young children, and from the very start we felt so welcome. The menu was provided in English, with plenty of choices for drinks and a wide variety of food options. The main dishes are centered around your choice of protein – chicken, steaks, pork ribs, lamb, or a vegetarian option – each served with a side such as salad, potatoes, or more. A highlight for the kids were the little paper boats filled with chicken or pork ribs, potatoes, and cheese – fun, tasty, and absolutely perfect for children. Everything is freshly cooked and homemade, with a great selection of sauces that were all delicious. The owner and staff are exceptionally friendly, creating a warm, family-like atmosphere. The service was outstanding from start to finish. To top it off, the homemade desserts are not to be missed – we tried the lemon and chocolate cheesecakes, and they were incredible. Tourist trap! Rip off! Probably the worst place we've been after living in Torremolinos for 8 years. 1 star for the young friendly waiter. Arrived hungry so so ordered starters. Was told the ribs weren't available so ordered a steak. Waited nearly 30 minutes for the starter and when we saw the table next to us served their main meal we asked if it was coming he said in 12 minutes (in other words, we'll start it now).

Got a couple of over priced wines and was going to get a brandy so asked for a glass of tap water. Waiter told me they don't do it?!? I showed him the law and that it was illegal not to serve one if asked. After getting the cheapest plastic bottle of water available in the supermarket.... and waiting longer we asked for the bill before the food came. Bottle of 20 cent water ...€2.90! Glass of Ramon Bilbao €4.70!

Tip to owner.... Never mind asking what our names are and using them like we're friends.... Focus on getting hungry people a starter quickly and not charging...

Came here with the whole family and never felt more welcome at a restaurant in our lives. Majority of us ordered the sirloin steaks and it was honestly one of the best meals we have ever had, even the sides of the jacket potato and the chips were so beautiful, When we got our deserts we got the specialities of the foam of gin fizz and the pears in wine and ice cream and honestly was so beautiful and delicious I would happily take second servings! The chef came out taking pride in each of his meals and was so welcoming, clearly can tell he loves his job as well as the waitress who was so lovely and kind. Once we finished our meals we were complimented with a free shot for each of the family including a non alcoholic one for the teen! Which was a lovely touch to a lovely evening! Definitely would recommend to everyone coming to torremolinos to come to this restaurant and we definitely would come again before going...
