La Tahona — Restaurant in Torremolinos

I would recommend this place to anyone visiting torremolinos. We found this cafe one morning while out looking for somewhere for brunch. It says alot when there are people queuing for the next available table. The service was friendly, polite & welcoming. We had baguettes for breakfast the first morning with really good coffee (something I struggle to find here in totremolinos) I had to order a second coffee it was so good. We returned the next day because of our previous visit & we were once again greeted with the same friendly welcoming service from staff who are busy & doing alot to accommodate everyone in the cafe so be patient it is worth the wait. The cost is so reasonable will return here when I visit torremolinos & I'll be recommending it to all my friends and anyone visiting the area.

Second returning visit sept 2024 After having such a nice experience last time here on holiday I returned with my group of 6 people. We had a variety of items from the menu. Unfortunately the food wasn't as good as last time & the staff tried to over charge us, we had ordered items but didn't receive them. They were on the bill for us. We asked for the bill & the card machine was put infront of us with the amount we questioned for the bill as we didn't receive some items and they were aware of what we didn't get but were still going to be charged for them seems a...

While we were waiting for our Airbnb to be ready and drop our luggages off we had breakfast here. Not knowing what to expect & if they speak English etc we gave it a go.

Very friendly staff, speak enough English & very patient as well. We had fried egg toasts with bacon and it comes with a little salad on the side. The bacon is amazing, whatever they are using it became our staple element of every single breakfast. Their fresh orange juice is a nice touch and breakfast with juice, coffee & a Nutella pancake with the egg toast + bacon was around €14 for 2 people. It kept us full for a good few hours and the place later on is open for dinner & drinks too. Can’t go wrong...

Really delicious and generous breakfast.

This place is a bit confusing as there are two places with almost the same name right next to each other, I've tried them both and the one you need to choose is the one with the white background logo with black typography, that is on the right as you look at both.

It's the smaller place but breakfasts in this place are so much more generous and delicious, there is a fairly good variety of choices and everything I've tried is really well done and lovely.

Definitely one of my favourite places to have breakfast in...
