We were absolutely delighted to dine at El Dorado Torremolinos during our recent holidays. From the moment we stepped in, we were greeted with a warm welcome by the entire team, making us feel right at home. A special shout-out to Tamara, who we had the pleasure of befriending. Her friendliness and warmth truly enhanced our dining experience. The menu at El Dorado Torremolinos is a testament to their commitment to excellence. Each dish is made with the freshest and highest quality ingredients, ensuring a unique gastronomic experience for every palate. The varied selection of traditional and innovative recipes pays homage to the region’s rich culinary heritage while incorporating contemporary touches that surprise and delight. We had the pleasure of trying several dishes from their extensive menu, and each one was a masterpiece. The Pipirrana de Marisco (Seafood Pipirrana) was a refreshing start, bursting with fresh flavors. The Calamaritos Fritos (Fried Baby Squids) were perfectly crispy and tender, a true delight. The Pulpo a la Gallega (Galician Octopus) was cooked to perfection, with a wonderful blend of spices that highlighted its natural flavors. For the main course, we indulged in the Fideuá al Pescador (Fish Fideuá), a delightful noodle dish with a rich seafood flavor, and the Arroz Negro Marinero (Sea Black Rice), which was a stunning black rice dish infused with the essence of the sea. The Paella de Marisco (Seafood Paella) was a symphony of seafood and rice, cooked to perfection. The Ensalada de Aguacate con Langostinos (Avocado Salad with Shrimps) was a refreshing and vibrant salad that perfectly balanced the creamy avocado with the succulent shrimp. The Parrillada de Marisco (Grilled Seafood) was a feast for the senses, offering a variety of grilled seafood that was simply divine. The Pulpo Brasa con Guarnición (Grilled Octopus with Garnish) was another highlight, with the grilled octopus being tender and flavorful. The Berenjenas con Miel de Caña (Aubergines with Honey Cane) were a unique and delicious treat, with the sweetness of the honey complementing the aubergines perfectly. The Boquerones Fritos (Fried Anchovies) were crispy and flavorful, a must-try for anyone who loves anchovies. The desserts were the perfect ending to our meal. Tamara’s homemade Crema Catalana and Tartas de Queso (cheesecakes) were absolutely divine. The Crema Catalana was creamy and rich, with a perfect caramelized top, while the Tartas de Queso were light, fluffy, and full of flavor. These desserts were a true testament to Tamara’s skill and passion for creating delightful treats. In addition to the exquisite cuisine, the atmosphere at El Dorado Torremolinos is welcoming and enchanting. The exceptional service provided by the staff, especially Tamara, made our dining experience truly magical. We highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for an extraordinary dining experience. Thank you to the entire team, and especially to Tamara, for making our visit so memorable. We can’t wait to return!...
Read moreWe just came to the restaraunt which was empty with only 4 tables (2 people each) sitting. The place had lots of sounds coming from everywhere: tv, 2 different music stations so we asked for a table next to the entrance which was a table for 4 people. The rude waitress told us in a very unprofessional manner it's a table for 4 and we are only 2. The place is empty and you can accommodate your guests for a table of 4 even they are 2. I told her we will eat for an hour and leave anyways and she repeated 5 times: but it's a table for 4! So we just left and the restaraunt lost 80 euros that we spent in a nice place nearby. Before coming we also saw negative comments regarding stuff but didn't pay attention but they were right. Educate your stuff how to treat guests respectfully and let people choose the view and table if you have 6 guest total in the room.
The restaraunt has replied to me below so this is for your management: Your waiters are the face of your restaraunt. You should prioritise your clients and not order them where they must sit, especially when the place is empty. People have a right to choose where they want to sit. However, if this is your policy that 2 people are not allowed to sit on the table for 4 when the restaraunt is empty, it's fully your right. You are just losing guests with this non-client oriented approach. And the waitress was rude as even my calm husband got shocked. This might have been not intentional however she put 0 efforts into accommodating us but raised her voice and told us: No, it's a table for 4. No it's a table for 4. Also, you have a tv playing, music playing in one room and another music playing in the next room so you can hear vatooys sounds coming from 3 different sources. And again, your guests have a right to choose where to sit and what view they want to have on their vacations. Especially when the place is empty. Your waitress would not tell you that she was rude and aggressive - this is a message for you as business. And she can tell you...
Read moreEdit answering the comment of the restaurant - I’m not talking about my friend sitting next to me, but me :) I did not drink any alcohol regard in one glass of wine in your restaurant :) but as we can see from all of the answers you make to the negative comments you just can’t accept that the food you serve is just terrible and you don’t do anything with this fact, just trying to hide it by this pathetic answers. Keep serving the food you serve but don’t expect people to like it :) you just don’t have good food, accept it if you don’t want to change anything.
If you are trying to have stomach problems than this is a place for you.
I ordered fried see food, croquettes and a burger. See food average, honestly with no taste. Croquettes I think were frozen before serving, very bad quality with random 5 French fries thrown on the plate. But the burger was the worst part. Ate it as it was late and it was my only meal that day, but quickly regretted as I had stomach problems all night. I would say the food quality is the worst which I experienced for 2 weeks dining in Spain. Avoid if you can.
(The server was very friendly, only good thing about...
