Restaurante Hawaii — Restaurant in Torremolinos

For a restaurant near the beach, it's quiet fairly in the late afternoon. The food is amazing, especially the tomato salad with pesto and mozzarella, my mum and I always ordered it when we came (which was almost every day we were in Torremolinos) and we don't regret a single cent we spent here. The waiters were amazing too, of course, and there was always a good atmosphere. The food does come fairly quickly but it's still good, the fries (chips), the fish, the calamares and the shrimps were very, very good. It might not look like much on the plate at first glance but the food does a great job at filling one's stomach. My mum and I even learned that "pagar" is basically paying, and "la cuenta" is the bill, so thank you for the food and to Ismail that you taught us the difference. Besides the food, the drinks were great as well, since a good and cold drink can't be missing from a good meal. All in all, we very much recommend checking out this nice restaurant. I went to the terrace of this restaurant that occupies public space—a sidewalk on the promenade in Torremolinos—open and outdoors, accompanied by a friend and my dog. The owner, in a rude tone, told me I had to leave, saying that dogs were not allowed in his establishment. I explained that we were in an open-air area, but he rudely insisted there was a sign prohibiting dogs, which, by the way, is not outside but at the interior entrance of the establishment.

When I told him that I didn’t find this fair and that I would leave a negative review on Google, he confronted me, rudely telling me not to “threaten” him and to keep quiet. I absolutely do not recommend this place to anyone who loves dogs, especially in Torremolinos, where most residents and tourists are dog-friendly. This must be the only place in the city where you can’t be outdoors with your dog. Horrible experience.

Fui a la terraza del restaurante que ocupa espacio público, una acera del paseo marítimo de Torremolinos, sin . cerrar y al aire libre en compañía de un amigo y de mi perro, cuando el dueño en un tono grosero me dice que me tengo que marchar, que no admite perros en su local. Le dije que estábamos al aire libre y me responde que no, de forma maleducada diciendo que hay un cartel que prohíbe el acceso de perros, que por cierto no está fuera sino a la entrada interior del local. Tras decirle que no me parecía justo, y que iba a poner una reseña negativa en Google, me increpa y me manda callar de dorma maleducada diciéndomeque no lo amenace. No recomiendo en absoluto este local para aquellos que amáis a los perros que en Torremolinos, son la gran mayoría de sus habitante y de los turistas que lo visitan. Debe ser el único local de la ciudad en dónde no puedes estar con tu perro al aire libre. Horrible ...

We eat here regularly when on holidays the staff are all amazing really friendly and helpful The restaurant is spotlessly clean The food is always hot and it is reasonably priced as are the drinks We always have our breakfast here it’s second to none and more often than not our evening meal too there is plenty of variety on the menu and after holidaying in the resort for over 17 years and visiting each holiday I can say hand on heart we have never had cause to complain about anything All in all...
