Restaurante Casa Antonio — Restaurant in Torremolinos

Although we had a choice of quite a few restaurants on the beach in Torremolinos, we visited this one 3 times! And for one main good reason: the delicious food! The mixed salad is made, like many salads in Spain, with a variety of fresh vegetables as well as tuna, and is served unmixed and with no dressing. We then added very tasting Spanish olive oil, vinegar and salt, and quick mix and voila! Good enough for 3 or even 4. The fish dishes are absolutely perfect, with sides of grilled vegetables and greens. When my mom and I asked to share a dish, the waiter came back with 2 plates, each had half a fish on it and each also had the full amount of the sides! Such a treat we never experienced anywhere else. And to top our meal, Antonio himself brought us a traditional Chupito made out of grapes. The service were always friendly and accommodating and the place has an inside and a balcony that’s closer to the beach. This is the place to go in Torremolinos. We tried all the restaurants in the area and this one is the one we came back to. Laid back friendly atmosphere. Not a place to be in a hurry and to really take in the flavors of Torremolinos. I went here for brunch to which I asked for a Spanish omelette and a drink not sure if they gave me a Spanish omelette or a different one but it was vile and tasteless and greesey with a little bit of salad on the side I would of sooner gone to a different place then here the staff was not freindly felt uncomfortable it took upto 20 mins to get my drink and they was not busy about half a dozen people in at the time not sure what the delay was but it was hot and I was longing for my drink which came but could of been faster then it was. Not sure if I will recommend this place to u as the feeling I got was they did not careless that's the feeling I felt from the staff the omelette was vile and had lumps in it which was potatoes to which was greesey as well the whole thing gave me a oily taste in my mouth which I found nasty and after leaving I had to eat something to get rid of the nasty taste in my mouth this is one place I won't go back to next time I am in torremolinos in Spain thanks but no thanks only thing I can say nice about it is the location right on the beach side that's the only good point I can say about...

We dined here on Mother’s Day (May) for lunch, and we were fortunate enough to get one of the last tables for two outdoors by the beach without a reservation. It’s nice to see both tourists and locals gathering here for lunch and dinner. We appreciated the variety of menu items for appetizers and main dishes, and this was one of the few restaurants along the boardwalk in Torremolinos that offers Iberico pork. We ordered iced café con leche, fried baby squid (calamaritos), and the presa Iberico (pieces of Iberico pork). We also got to choose how cooked we wanted the pork.
