Zenzero — Restaurant in Torremolinos

We had lunch outside on a very pleasant day. The wait staff was attentive and offered to speak in English. We took the explanations in Spanish and she did a nice job of describing options and indicating the amount of food that we would get. The servings are generous and my wife and I had the Caprese salad. This was large and creatively done with cherry tomatoes, burrata, small red peppers (these were sweet with just a bit of spice that was very pleasant), and a wafer thin ‘bread.’ All in all, it was a delicious salad and generous for two. Some of the best food we had whilst on holiday in Torremolinos! The food is fresh, very tasty and there's something for everyone on the menu. It's really good value, with main dishes between €12-€15 and cocktails only €5 each. The staff are really friendly, happy to help and explained the menu, and we even got a free shot of limoncello with the bill. The first night we went (Saturday) it was completely fully booked, so we tried again on Sunday and it was definitely worth the wait! Oh my goodness! Forget how good the pizzas and pastas are , go for the starter menu and treat it like tapas. Italian cuisine at its best! In torremolinos! Beautiful courtyard setting at night with candles on every table - such a relaxed environment but genuinely the best restaurant in the area … the zenzero salad is sharp salty oily salmon eggs basil orange potato - so unusual but unbelievably tasty !
