Restaurante El Novillo — Restaurant in Torrevieja

This is a really nice Italian/Spanish restaurant that my sister recommended to me. It is in a nice location with a good ambiance, the service is excellent and the food is very good. The menu is really good value - a la carte, or a choice of two 'menu del dias' for €9.95 or €15.95. For €15.95 you can get bread and sauce, then an incredible fish soup and then a good sized sirloin steak. Add a bottle of the house wine or a beer each and you have a great three course meal for change out of €40.

I went to this restaurant with my mum several times recently and we both thought it was great. I worked my way through several options on the menu but the standout for me was the fish soup (my mum loved the Pizza). A meal in itself with razor clams, clams, shrimp, celery - and bread to dip. I usually had to get my main meal boxed up to take home.

I will gladly visit this restaurant...

Today we visited this place for the dinner. Decided to take also red wine from the list. Actually they do not have any list, so we asked for the red wine. The red wine was unfortunately over cooked and tasted like a bad lambrusco. We tried to say about it for the waitress, but she started yelling to me that it can not be her problem, because the seller brought her this overcooked wine. We tried to explain that some bath of item can be overcooked. So on the end it was so difficult as she screamed to us, so we just paid our bill and left. Customer service was awful and aggressive. Do not recommend this...

Dining at this restaurant was a true gastronomic adventure! The prices are competitive and absolutely worth every euro. And the food? Simply outstanding! We enjoyed a selection of seafood – shrimp, octopus, and various delicacies, along with exquisite starters. For the main course, we had a perfectly cooked steak. Every bite was a harmonious blend of flavors and quality.

The service was top-notch! The staff was attentive, professional, and friendly, always ready to provide recommendations and create an unforgettable experience. Everything was just perfect – from the very first moment to the last bite.

I highly recommend visiting this restaurant to anyone who appreciates high-quality food and excellent service! It’s a place you’ll want to return to again and again.

¡Cenar en este restaurante fue una verdadera aventura gastronómica! Los precios son competitivos y realmente valen cada euro. ¿Y la comida? ¡Simplemente espectacular! Disfrutamos de una increíble selección de mariscos: gambas, pulpo y otras delicias, junto con unos entrantes exquisitos. Para el plato principal, tomamos un filete perfectamente cocinado. Cada bocado fue una combinación armoniosa de sabores y calidad.

¡El servicio fue impecable! El personal es atento, profesional y amable, siempre dispuesto a dar recomendaciones y crear una experiencia inolvidable. Todo fue simplemente perfecto, desde el primer momento hasta el último bocado.

Recomiendo encarecidamente visitar este restaurante a cualquiera que aprecie la comida de alta calidad y un servicio excelente. ¡Es un lugar al que sin duda querrás volver...
