Best food we had in Tossa de Mar. I got the beef filet which was cooked perfectly, came with a delicious sauce, french fries, and vegetables. The seabass was to die for. Perfectly combined with potatoes and melted in your mouth. We strolled in after seeing the seabass on the menu, and I’m so glad we did. Amazing flavors, great atmosphere, incredible service, stunning location. Were also served a shot on the house to end off the meal. Highly recommend!

Entrees we’re good. Paellas were extremely salted, had almost nothing in them and tasted bad. We could not eat them. Seafood paella came with one shrimp and vegetable paella has some peppers and tomato.. Dessert was cafeteria style cake. Waiter did not care about our bad experience with them and did not offer any replacement food when he came to take back the plates. I had to go elsewhere to order myself a pizza to avoid starving.

No pongo más estrellas porque no se puede. Realmente increíble! Menú 36€ con tres entrantes para compartir, mejillones, tartar de atún y calamares a la andaluza. Los mejillones y el tartar de atún quitan el sentido. De principal un montón de arroces y más cosas para elegir. Siendo fanáticos de los arroces nos costaba decidir, así que pedimos opinión a la camarera, la cual nos dijo que el de pato con foie y espárragos verdes estaba buenísimo. Obviamente pedimos ese, pensando que no nos podía sorprender ya que habíamos probado anteriormente muchos arroces. La sorpresa fue cuando nos dejó sin palabras el arroz, puedo decir que es el arroz más brutal que he probado en mi vida, el sabor, la originalidad, volvería a comerlo mil veces. Para acabar, postres caseros, elegimos tarta de queso y de pistacho, volviéndonos a dejar sin palabras con la de pistacho. Me gustaría aclarar que en el menú entraba vino, cava y sangría, a lo que preguntamos si podíamos pedir agua y cerveza, sin dudarlo nos dijeron que por supuesto y no con eso contentos, nos pusieron dos bebidas a cada uno sin cobrar más, sino todo con el mismo precio del menú. Mi enhorabuena a los cocineros, camareros y a todas las personas que trabajan para hacer de un sitio turístico el mejor restaurante que he podido probar. Gracias!

Great atmosphere and location, the staff was nice and understanding but I should’ve walked away when they brought out the “finish baking at home” bread you get wrapped in plastic for 50 cents from Aldi.

The shrimp croquettes tasted like they came out of a freezer and the shrimp was just shrimp paste, I almost got sick from the taste of it, not crispy. I really don’t like writing negative reviews but it just felt as though they were cutting too many corners and took no pride in being a restaurant. I think the local who recommended it knows someone working there because this place was under par and over priced.

The octopus was also not fresh, it came out slimey and had no flavor other than burnt paprika, same goes for the puree underneath. The staff was nice enough to take it back. We gave them one more chance and tried the marinated mussels which were decent but not as fresh as you’d expect from a place so close to the sea. I don’t recommend this place to anyone...

I had an amazing time at Can Gol during my recent weekend away in Tossa De Mar. It was so good in fact that I went twice. The staff are super friendly and inviting, they'll chat with you and make sure you have everything you need but also respect your space and not be too overbearing. The food is also of an exceptional standard. Would Highly recommend and will definitely be back!

Worth noting that unfortunately the previous business at the same address was called Can Pol (with a P) and that that business had a few terrible reviews. PLEASE DO NOT MISTAKE those old reviews for Can Gol which only...

We stopped here just for a drink before we saw the burrata ordered to another table so we decided to try that as well. Great presentation, great food, and great service. We stayed for a while and read our books waiting for the weather to cool and Octavio, our server, brought us ice to keep our drinks cool before we even had to ask. We didn’t get to try it but we saw the paella at another table and regretted not ordering it.
