Almunia was an incredible find! We tried the degustation menu for just 25 euros per person, and it was absolutely worth it. The portions were generous, and we got to taste a variety of delicious dishes, along with a drink and dessert. Everything was flavorful and well-prepared, making it a fantastic culinary experience. What we loved the most is that the place didn’t feel touristy at all—we only saw locals dining there, which is always a great sign. The atmosphere was warm and authentic, and the service was excellent. If you're looking for a true marocan experience, Almunia is a must-visit!

My second time here and it was just as delicious as the first. The first time, I went for dinner. This time I did their menu Del Dia. For my first course, I chose the hummus and homemade bread to accompany it. For my second course, I had the vegetable couscous. Also comes with a drink and a dessert served with delicious sweetened tea. Second course choices include various tagines or couscous dishes. 11€. Staff (I’m told they are all family) is attentive and kind. Interior space is well appointed. Feels “otherworldly.” Looking forward to my next visit. Highly recommend.

Highly recommend! This place has the perfect combination of great food, nice atmosphere, reasonable prices and good service. We both had Set Menu 1 and really enjoyed it. The portions are quite big and we were unable to finish it all - so we were offered a box to bring home the leftovers, which we we did. We noticed that several of the other tables did the same 😁 The waiter (I think he might be the owner) was very charming and seemed to really enjoy making people feel welcome. Conclusion: Absolutely go here if you are in Valencia and want to have good Moroccan food.

Not worth even going there. Awful food and terrible service. Spend your money somewhere else... They need to improve, clean and offer better option and quality. Not worth of a 1 star. The place need a good cleaning. Very dirty and dark. I don't know how this place got a good review. Highly likely the review is not accurate or done by the owner. I searched in good the reviews cannot be verified.

The owner needs to take this positive and taken action.

1- First clean 2- Improve the menu 3- Bring original Moracon traditional food. 4- Thank people for positive and negative feedback and learn what's needed. Otherwise the restaurant will go down more and more. Multi media is very powerful tool.

An honest hard working person will listen and learn from their mistakes. This place needs a good clean. You cannot hide all dirt with dark colour. This is my honest opinion if you want to run a good...

Went there with four other women yesterday evening. After being seated, we were ignored for about 20 min. until we called the waiter ourselves to see if he could bring us something to drink and provide the menu. We were given the qr code and he told us, that only his boss could take our order. When the owner finally came, we wanted to start by ordering three different plates to share in the middle, as is very common to do in any place here in Spain (been living here for 20 years), a bottle of wine and water. He then continued to explain, we needed to order at least five dishes for five persons and there was no way we could only order three dishes and ask for more later. He didn't care about the extent of our appetite, just wanted the 5 plates sold (even though his place had enough empty tables to spare) and kind of treated us as cheap and became very unfriendly ...so we decided to leave - and...

I had dinner in this restaurant about 2 years ago and from what I recall, it was a very good experience. Unfortunately this time, that was not the case. Merguez over cooked and super dry. Vegs were also over cooked. We figured out the food was re-heat in a microwave before being served as we could literally see the microwaves present in the kitchen (and hearing the biiip every 5min). So the couscous might simply be industrial and was actually not prepared in their kitchen, which is very disappointing. We also felt super full not even half way through, hard to digest. It also says they have a wine menu but when we ordered, we discovered that they don't sell wine anymore since 6 months. It's really not pleasant to eat a couscous with a beer... They were kind to offer us some tea and local desserts (dry too), but too late for us to change our mind. I would not...
