Unfortunately, it was a disappointing and upsetting experience. I had been sitting in full sun for over half an hour waiting for my drinks, so I moved to the table right next to me in the shade. The drinks were placed on the original table, which made sense, since the staff didn’t know I had moved.
It was busy, and I waited patiently. I understand the pressure. But when I calmly tried to explain and said I would simply grab the drinks from the original table, the one she had just placed them on, the waitress suddenly started shouting at me, loudly and aggressively.
That moment changed the tone of the entire visit. It wasn’t just rude. It was humiliating and made me feel genuinely unsafe. You don’t know what someone is going through And hospitality, especially under pressure, is not about control or ego. It is about treating people with care.
Thankfully, the regular waiters at our table were kind, which only made the contrast more striking. I didn’t come here to be yelled at. I came for a pleasant moment, and instead I left shaken and deeply...
Read moreMe and my family are coming to pascuala since 6 years. What used to be a really amazing place with great food and nice people, has developed to a really sad experience! Over the years I told my friends about the great bocadillos and the fair prices. However the service is unorganized by now, nobody has ownerships of the tables or orders anymore. We have told the staff, that we aren't seeing the love & excitement in their work anymore. This has a direct impact on our experience. We had to wait sitting at a table of a party of 7 for 2+ hours, whereby nobody took our orders for food nor drinks, while we had hungry kids and thirsty granny. It's just sad, as we really enjoyed this place years ago. In the hope that this review gives the staff insights of how their work is perceived over the years, we hope it will have a positive impact for the...
Read moreDuring our Valentine’s Day getaway to Valencia, I was jonesing for some horse meat so we came here. The “half” I ordered was part of a brunch deal. Less than 10 euros. The Wife opted for a salad and fish meal that ran us 13.50 euros. So how was the horse meat? It was the best I have had in my life. Now, I have an urge to grab a dog meat sandwich, but neigh, neigh. That will have to wait for another day. The meat tasted like beef but a little chewier. The sandwich named Susan came with jamón Serrano and grilled onions. If the service would have been better, I would have ordered a second beer. The carajillo was a downer since it had no coffee beans or a citrus zest, both found in the best versions. The place has a Spanish eatery vibe and I like it. Just don’t expect an...
