La Flaca de Rezafa, A Spanish Culinary Gem Ambiance: La Flaca de Rezafa, a charming Spanish restaurant, transports you straight to the heart of Spain with its warm and inviting atmosphere. The decor subtly blends traditional Spanish elements with a modern twist, creating an environment that is both familiar and enchanting.
Cuisine: The culinary experience here is nothing short of excellent. Each dish is a testament to authentic Spanish flavors, with ingredients that taste as if they were sourced directly from the sun-drenched fields of Spain. The standout dishes that deserve a special mention include their paella, a perfect symphony of seafood and spices, and the tapas selection, which offers a delightful array of tastes and textures.
Sangria: A highlight of the meal was undoubtedly their sangria. It was impeccably balanced - a harmonious blend of fruit, wine, and spirits that encapsulates the essence of Spanish leisure. It was refreshing, flavorful, and an absolute must-try for anyone visiting.
Service: While the food and drinks were exceptional, the service did lag a bit. The waitstaff, although polite and knowledgeable, seemed overwhelmed at times, leading to longer wait times than expected. This minor setback, however, did not significantly detract from the overall dining experience.
Overall: La Flaca de Rezafa is a gem for anyone seeking authentic Spanish cuisine. The exquisite food, coupled with the delightful sangria, more than makes up for the slightly slower service. It's a culinary journey worth taking for a taste of Spain in the heart...
Read morePhenomenal!!!! We were having issues getting a table anyway because we just got into town and didn't realize you needed reservations for the busier nights. We happened to walk in here and told to wait a few minutes. A few minutes later, and the owner (?) asked if we had a reservation. We said no, yet he decided to seat us anyway. He recommended the fish of the day along with another fish dish. We ordered that with two glasses of white wine. I can't tell you how great both dishes were. They were identical in looks yet completely separate in tastes. It was amazing. We ended up ordering two glasses of red toward the end of the meal and were just as happy with those selections as the Blanco's. You could tell the place just screams great food and wine because the staff were running around crazy the whole 2.5 hours we were there. It was deeply satisfying that she even came to double-check everything was correct on the check instead of handing it to us and leaving. We have been fortunate enough to visit a few different places since being in valencia. La Flaca de Ruzafa is the restaurant we have dubbed the "everyone who visits must go to" restaurant. And we will definitely be going multiple more times to sample the rest of...
Read moreA fantastic find during the Fallas festival. We found this place by pure luck in a wonderful lit crossroads where all sorts of festivities were being held for the festival. Notably lots of fireworks going off. A table outside became available as we arrived. The service was very friendly and quick. We ordered a great selection of food and it as FANTASTIC - ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS. We were sooooo happy to have found this place. I highly recommend it. As a table of 4 people we ate very very well and the drinks selection was also great.
Some of the highlights of the food - sorry no photographs as I didn't have my phone with me for one evening : All were delicious.
