This is by far my favorite food market. If you've been to Eataly in New York, San Miguel has the same vibe but just a lot more affordable! It has everything you deserve in Spain, jamon, cheese, tinto, tapas, pincho, paella, and all kinds of sea food.
The 1 euro salmon pincho is a must have! The salmon was so fresh and juicy that I never wanted to swallow it. The crusty bread holding it gave a strong structure. I came back the next time bringing more friends and ended up having five salmon pinchos!
The cheese store's lady was the nicest! I asked for six kinds of Spanish cheese for tasting and she labeled all of them with names for reference! She definitely knows cheese really really well. Although it took about 30 minutes from order to food on the table (which is a long wait time but it’s probably because he prepared everything fresh and from scratch) the food was delicious and a great value for money. A...
